If you want to impress your lady don't bring her here. One thing is they have a portable heater that kept dripping out. Second there is a coffee maker but no coffee or creamer or cups or cabinet to put these things in, these things are standard in the industry. Icing on the cake happened in the morning the power was out so no water to flush the toilet and no shower for the wife. I think there was a scheduled power outage since I saw Hydro One working on the lines down the street in any case no discount was offered.

Staff were very friendly and quick to react when we had a minor heating issue. We thought it strange that there was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee or cups. Overall the room was perfect and at a great price point for our use.

The motel is clean and close to where we were wanted to visit. Quite and nice. No shampoo.

Easy place to stay before paddling into algonquin park tmrw...drive up from Toronto takes 3hrs... Nice diner in the area for breakfast in the morning and then its park time...well priced

We booked a hotel last minute to see our son' hockey game at the South River arena. The hotel is a bit run down and even though there are No Smoking signs on all unit doors, there is the stale smell of smoke. Our one interaction with staff was fine. The town itself doesn't have much in the way of dining.

I would recommend this motel, very comfortable, got to check in earlier. Very quiet, everything you need .Price was great especially for being on a long weekend.

The motel is a little old but the online photos are accurate so, I knew exactly what to expect. Staff are friendly and helpful. A decent place for a stopover stay.

Room 12 rekes badly of old cigarette smoke. Not all units are like this, however. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the bed sheets did smell freshly cleaned.

It was quite pricey for a off highway motel room, i would have expected it to be half of what we actually paid. Aside from that, the owner was very nice and pleasant, the room was clean and tidy but a bit run down, but again, its an off highway motel, not the Ritz-Carlton.
