ケヘア カイ マウイ、アセンド ホテル コレクション(Kohea Kai Maui, Ascend Hotel Collection)

The bed was comfortable, sheets were soft, bathroom newly remodeled. Furnishings were bare-boned, buildings were tired and the grounds were kind of a maze. Staff was friendly and there was a nice but small variety of breakfast snacks available. Also, it’s more of a motel than hotel. Not a place you go to hang out but fine for a clean bed and shower. Speaking of, shower didn’t get hot enough.

Were able to let us do early check-in. Was not aware that part of hotel undergoing renovation. Water in the bathroom came out grey. Tight spaces for parking

Kohea Kai was clean and tidy and located right across the street from the beach in Kihei. Our room was clean and the fenced in yard was well kept and gardened. We also got complimentary snacks in the lobby at check in and check out. Only thing was our A/C was not cooling our room effectively. But had a nice night there and would stay again.

The sheets looked like they were NOT changed. The remote to the light didn't work. Cable outlet was attached to the wall. No toilet paper holder in bathroom.

Overpriced motel on busy street with direct view and access to ocean. Room lacked safe. I stayed multiple nights but never got my room cleaned. The room was dated but clean. Honestly the best thing about this place was its close proximity to Isana, which is not only an incredible sushi restaurant, but has two happy hours.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. WE LOVE THIS PLACE AND WE WILL KEEP COMING BACK. THEY ARE GREAT!!! SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF!!!

Extremely pricey for such a run down establishment. Also the term ‘resort’ is very loosely applied. If this was cheaper than I think for the value it would be acceptable since it is beach front and Kihei is a wonderful place in Maui but for $500/night this place was really gross. Would never go back.

The employees were kind and accommodating. Their performance was excellent. The room was clean, but outdated and a bit uncomfortable. The amenities were lacking. The pool area was misrepresented in photos. Not much dining in proximity. Ultimately lodging was, in my opinion, not worth the cost.

Parking spaces were very tight and most difficult to park in, no hand soap in the bathroom , the pool was the size of a jacuzzi, The bed was comfortable but you could hear every noise from the neighbors, the screen door to the balcony wasn’t attached so I fixed it. They overcharged for what they provide.breakfast was an oatmeal packet or a packet of crackers
