Days Inn Tucson/Marana had many positives: convenient location, proximity to dining options and stores, great service, and decent amenities, including good parking and a decent breakfast (including eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, milk, juice, milk and coffee) however, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. While it was not dirty per se, there were noticeable issues such as dust accumulation in corners and behind furniture. While the room cleanliness could be improved, the overall experience was positive, and I would consider staying here again in the future.

The hostess caught me off guard with her smile, charm, and laughter. I forgot her name, but she was the golden star of my travels back to the west coast. I should have chatted her up more as she seemed playful and fun. I had just gotten off the road after 13 hours of driving and zoned out and wiped. The hotel was great, but she made me at ease with her joyous demeanor represented the hotel in a way that is lost these days.

The bed wasn't very supportive woke up sore. Our room (323) had a door in the wall that went to another room. You could hear everything they did. Cracker Barrel parking lot the noise never stopped.

There was no carpet in rhe rooms - only tile. Plastic chairs. Sheets and mattress pad kept coming off the bed. AC/Heating not central but has a room unit. It was very loud. Very little insulation - could hear everything that happened in adjoining room and hallway. Close to interstate and train tracks. Loud traffic sounds. Food at free breakfast fair to average - apples looked very old. No other fresh fruit.

Bathrooms are pretty dirty and outdated. I was not comfortable using the shower since it was full of stains.

A some what problem filled stay. Booked a two room suite. The heat didn’t work in one of the rooms. The hotel let us check out the other room just like ours. Heat worked but the fan was so loud we choose to keep the room with no heat. They promised to have maintenance fix it the next day. They never did. Then house keeping took a bag with new shoelaces that my daughter needed for her boots and threw them out. The front desk apologized and gave me $10 cash. I didn’t know there were two pairs and they had cost close to $20. Walls were thin and you could easily hear the rooms around you. Breakfast was ok. There’s a lot of hotels on this road and it’s probably best to choose a different one.

Walls, floors, ceilings are PAPER THIN. I could hear everything going on, on all sides of my room. The person above me was stomping and pacing for a couple hours pretty late at night. Room was comfortable and clean but I probably wouldn’t stay here for longer than just passing through for one night.

Issues - wifi didn’t work on my 3 devices. Room smelled like strong bleach on entry. Overall satisfactory, nothing stood out. Pillows, towels, and bedsheets all need to be replaced - very dated and not comfortable. Seemed around $40.00 - $50.00 overpriced for what was listed.

Good location. Decent breakfast. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Needs some work on the details (painting, fixtures).
