Fabulous hotel in a great location. Downside was the poolside music and afternoon DJs who had the same boom boom music on a loop - all day! One exception was the DJ who was accompanied by a musician playing an electric guitar. He was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I doubt the people responsible for the choice looked at the demographic of their clientele. Having stayed at both hotels this year (Ibiza & Marbella) I accept the younger residents in Ibiza would enjoy this genre of music but it now the crowd in Marbella. It certainly is SO repetitive that after 5 days I wanted to scream 'turn it off!' Apart from that we had a fabulous time!!
We stayed a week in Obal urban Hotel and we had 10/10 experience. The staff were so helpful and pleasant and the housekeeping deserve a huge shoutout! The room we got was well appointed with plenty of hotel toiletries and towels. We had the most fantastic balcony overlooking orange square. We stayed for 7 nights half board. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of selection. Maybe we wouldn’t do half board if staying for a week again as there was lots of restaurants to chose from on Marbella. The 360 bar and pool was a great addition and the cocktails were delicious! The beach was a hop skip and jump away with the beds being 18€ a day for 2 beds and umbrella! We will return for sure! Room 502 10/10!

First the negs; There were some poor electrics one socket was with wires showing and the balcony the same without light. The balcony was half fixed still no working light but no bare wires, the socket was fixed. So no balcony light. The sheets are thick and rough not light or soft and it was not nice as it was hot and I don't like to use air con but like a sheet on me. The lefts are unreliable. You can wait 5 minutes for one to take you up or down they just pass you though called and as I was on the 3rd floor and there are 7 (actually 8 as the breakfast floor is an extra floor between 0 and 1 called E) so I did not want to talk to roof terrace for pool area nor down for breakfast. My room was noisy as had a connecting door between me and the people next door no insulation from speaking at all. No coffee making facilities as no kettle or cups milk coffee tea in room. Safe needed money if wanted not self set code it was the key type and 3 euro per day which I did not want to spend so locked stuff in my case. The toilet seat moved when sat on. The shower was over bath and in the middle of the length of the bath not at the end yet they only provided a shower panel/screen to half way so you either got loads of water on floor or had to hold the shower and not have it on the holder really strange. The hand soap was horrid smelling. Breakfast was hot and miss with the eggs they usually were old. The melon likewise some days was soft on edges like out for hours or cut the day or two before. The sweet pastries were mostly mediocre and cheap tasting. I cannot comment on the meat I don't eat it. Now the pros: Location. Absolutely wonderful for beach and the old town centre and all the parks all on foot and good supermarket nearby Carrefour so no need for car. The balcony was nice for 2 people and looks down on the street with trees and birds and lovely sky at night. There are 4 free electricity sockets in the room. The reception staff are really nice and helpful and spoke good English. The roof terrace though had small pool was nice as the pool was covered and would be good off peak though unheated and there were plenty of umbrellas and loungers for use. No bar but you can buy from the bar on the floor E and take up. Wonderful sea view. They have included a long curved sloped entryway for pushchairs and wheelchair users to enter the building. The cleaning is of a high standard in the main. You get a floor clean once a week and daily bedmaking or towel changes as needed you just leave towel on floor if dirty. Plumbing very good and shower pressure and temperature hot or cold as wanted very good. I hope you find this helpful if so please vote so!
My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel on September 1st and September 2nd. And our experience was way better than we expected. Among all the hotels in the area, this is one of the most affordable ones, and yet, they have the quality of service that most of the luxury hotels have. First, they have a parking lot, next to the hotel and it's pretty affordable per day. The hotel location is excellent, next to one of their main avenues and a few blocks away from the beach. Customer Service employees at the front desk were always nice and helpful, especially, Mr. Beltran. Regarding it's cleanliness, no complaint at all, the room was super clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Good things: Cleaning staff! V friendly despite the language barriers Staff in general is nice The breakfast is amazing! It is halal and the selections alone are worth staying here. I also love the fact that I don’t have to check if anything has gelatin or is pork derived or not cross contaminated with pork or other non-halal items before consuming it at their restaurants. The rooms is nice with all things u need to make ur stay a good one The hotel is next to the mosque and is walking distance from the beach, which would be great during summertime The bad: The outdoor pool is closed due to winter which is understandable, but this is not listed anywhere on their website I was like OK, at least I’ll have the indoor pool and hot tub because right now the beach is way too cold to go into. Nope, the indoor pool is also closed due to some temperature control issues I literally came all the way from United States, spent a lot of money on my ticket and on my elongated stay here, just to experience indoor pool in an environment where people are not drunk. V v disappointed. The other bad is that the hotel is located a bit far away from the old town area. That means that if you want to catch any buses or trains to Grenada or Seville, you first have to figure out the internal bus system, or take an expensive cab to a station with less connections or rent ur own car. (Even though I’m here for a full week, all the tours were booked out, leaving from the hotel).

We only stayed one night which is a shame as we would have liked to have stayed longer, the lady on reception (don't blink or you will miss it has to be the smallest we have ever seen) is wonderful so friendly and welcoming the room was very clean and had a modern feel to it very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom the hotel is right in the centre of oldtown the door to reception could easily be mistaken for the door of a house but oldtown is beautiful a photographers dream with narrow winding streets. we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to anyone.
Lovely spacious and clean apartment. Comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Well equipped throughout. In a very convenient location, a few minutes walk from public transport. Probably the only minor issue would be that there was a bit of noise from the upstairs apartment.

TtedsaladharefieldGreat hotel, nice rooms, massive pool great bars, reasonable hastle free breakfast. There was a big mix up on reception on check in but Virna kept her cool and sorted it out. One negative, you’re short on water but there are no toilet brushes in the bathrooms so you end up flushing 10 times more than you would to clear the mess away, mad! Also housing shouldn’t have to scrum my mess away, go buy a brush for each room. Other than that too hotel.
This is a lovely old hotel in a fairly quiet location surrounded by apartment blocks and only a couple of hundred meters from the seafront. The interior, although old, looks really beautiful and the apartments have good facilities including dishwasher and washing machine. However, the hotel, in my opinion, doesn’t make the best use of what it has. The brochures state it has two bars, which it has, but only one is used which is located in the middle of the restaurant and with only a couple of large sofas and armchairs gives the place little ambience. I have to agree with other reviewers the one of the biggest let downs is the reception, particularly one of the male receptionists/ manager who seemed to treat guests like an inconvenience, there was certainly no smiles or cheery welcome, no explanation of the hotels facilities. Just a request for passports, sign here and here. The room keys were plonked on the counter and that was it. He was most certainly a graduate of the Basil Faulty school of hotel management. The decor of the is restaurant is also very nice as are the staff but we only had one meal in it and both our meals were cold and had to be returned for reheating. Sadly, on our final morning in the hotel we had a 8 am pick up and discovered there was no water in the room which turned out to be the case throughout the hotel. We had an apology, but we had to leave without being able to freshen up. The pool and pool area is very pleasant and there is no problem with availability of beds with most residents respecting the No reserving policy. As my title suggests, it could be so much better with a little effort on the part of management.
ゲゲストThis is a pretty basic hotel, and the decor will not be to everyone's taste! However, the bed was comfortable, the room was large, there was a small balcony and there was bottled water. It was fine for a two-night stay in order to come and meet friends. The towels were pretty basic and I was slightly perplexed as to why there was only one chair on the outside patio of Room 206. There's also an interconnecting door in Room 206, which is probably useful for families but less useful in terms of hearing everything that's said in the next-door room. There is a restaurant next to the hotel (which we didn't try but looked fine, and was open for breakfast). We did try Masala Indian Restaurant one night, but it's not a place I need to go back to. The Carrefour supermarket is a ten-minute walk, as is the beach. The receptionist, Belina, was delightful.
OOlena TI stayed at Pension Aduar in May 2024, and I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Located right in the heart of Marbella, in the picturesque old town, Pension Aduar provides an incredibly beautiful setting perfect for walks both during the day and in the evening. The sea is very close by, which is a huge plus for beach lovers. The location in the old town creates a special atmosphere, immersing guests in authentic Spanish charm. Walking through the narrow streets and enjoying the architecture brought me great joy. The hotel staff deserves special praise. They are true professionals who clearly love and care for the hotel with all their hearts. Their friendliness and willingness to help in any situation made my stay even more comfortable. Although it was still too cold for me to swim in the sea in May, so I plan to return this summer. The hotel provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. Pension Aduar is the perfect place for those who want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Marbella's old town and enjoy the proximity to the sea. The friendly and professional staff makes staying here truly enjoyable. I look forward to my next visit!
