My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel on September 1st and September 2nd. And our experience was way better than we expected. Among all the hotels in the area, this is one of the most affordable ones, and yet, they have the quality of service that most of the luxury hotels have. First, they have a parking lot, next to the hotel and it's pretty affordable per day. The hotel location is excellent, next to one of their main avenues and a few blocks away from the beach. Customer Service employees at the front desk were always nice and helpful, especially, Mr. Beltran. Regarding it's cleanliness, no complaint at all, the room was super clean and we enjoyed our stay.
This hotel is amazing as well as its location.a short walk to the golden mile and situated conveniently between peurto banus and Marbella. This is our 2nd visit and we weren’t disappointed! The pool area and gardens are lovely and you can always get a sun bed ☺️The rooms are stunning, modern and comfortable with large balconies. The staff can’t do enough for you, a special shout out to Xavier the hotel manager who made our stay so memorable and made us feel so welcome being returning guests (can’t believe he remembered us) will definitely go again next year and can’t recommend the whole experience enough!!
Great hotel, nice rooms, massive pool great bars, reasonable hastle free breakfast. There was a big mix up on reception on check in but Virna kept her cool and sorted it out. One negative, you’re short on water but there are no toilet brushes in the bathrooms so you end up flushing 10 times more than you would to clear the mess away, mad! Also housing shouldn’t have to scrum my mess away, go buy a brush for each room. Other than that too hotel.
We only stayed one night which is a shame as we would have liked to have stayed longer, the lady on reception (don't blink or you will miss it has to be the smallest we have ever seen) is wonderful so friendly and welcoming the room was very clean and had a modern feel to it very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom the hotel is right in the centre of oldtown the door to reception could easily be mistaken for the door of a house but oldtown is beautiful a photographers dream with narrow winding streets. we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to anyone.
Lovely spacious and clean apartment. Comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Well equipped throughout. In a very convenient location, a few minutes walk from public transport. Probably the only minor issue would be that there was a bit of noise from the upstairs apartment.
DDiscover41708342894We stayed a week in Obal urban Hotel and we had 10/10 experience. The staff were so helpful and pleasant and the housekeeping deserve a huge shoutout! The room we got was well appointed with plenty of hotel toiletries and towels. We had the most fantastic balcony overlooking orange square. We stayed for 7 nights half board. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of selection. Maybe we wouldn’t do half board if staying for a week again as there was lots of restaurants to chose from on Marbella. The 360 bar and pool was a great addition and the cocktails were delicious! The beach was a hop skip and jump away with the beds being 18€ a day for 2 beds and umbrella! We will return for sure! Room 502 10/10!
This is a lovely old hotel in a fairly quiet location surrounded by apartment blocks and only a couple of hundred meters from the seafront. The interior, although old, looks really beautiful and the apartments have good facilities including dishwasher and washing machine. However, the hotel, in my opinion, doesn’t make the best use of what it has. The brochures state it has two bars, which it has, but only one is used which is located in the middle of the restaurant and with only a couple of large sofas and armchairs gives the place little ambience. I have to agree with other reviewers the one of the biggest let downs is the reception, particularly one of the male receptionists/ manager who seemed to treat guests like an inconvenience, there was certainly no smiles or cheery welcome, no explanation of the hotels facilities. Just a request for passports, sign here and here. The room keys were plonked on the counter and that was it. He was most certainly a graduate of the Basil Faulty school of hotel management. The decor of the is restaurant is also very nice as are the staff but we only had one meal in it and both our meals were cold and had to be returned for reheating. Sadly, on our final morning in the hotel we had a 8 am pick up and discovered there was no water in the room which turned out to be the case throughout the hotel. We had an apology, but we had to leave without being able to freshen up. The pool and pool area is very pleasant and there is no problem with availability of beds with most residents respecting the No reserving policy. As my title suggests, it could be so much better with a little effort on the part of management.
ゲゲストThis is a pretty basic hotel, and the decor will not be to everyone's taste! However, the bed was comfortable, the room was large, there was a small balcony and there was bottled water. It was fine for a two-night stay in order to come and meet friends. The towels were pretty basic and I was slightly perplexed as to why there was only one chair on the outside patio of Room 206. There's also an interconnecting door in Room 206, which is probably useful for families but less useful in terms of hearing everything that's said in the next-door room. There is a restaurant next to the hotel (which we didn't try but looked fine, and was open for breakfast). We did try Masala Indian Restaurant one night, but it's not a place I need to go back to. The Carrefour supermarket is a ten-minute walk, as is the beach. The receptionist, Belina, was delightful.
Stayed here as I was in Marbella for a couple of days attending a wedding. It's a pleasant little place. Friendly staff and decent sized rooms with functioning air conditioning off a pretty courtyard. The area it is in is brilliant. The old town is the nicest part of Marbella and the alley way itself is pretty, as evidenced by the people stopping to take instagram photos with the blossom. Most importantly, this was incredibly good value for a short stay compared to anything else in the area. I'd stay again if I was swinging by Marbella.
