The hotel was really nice, everything really modern and with all comfortables. Cleaning ok, maybe something to improve but nothing bad. Breakfast very good, they had everything in buffet. Position good, no complaints at all!! The only annoying thing was the light of the security that all the night was green and red, really annoying for people that like to spleep in the darkness.

I enjoyed our stay at the Segond as the hotel is very clean and modern. Staff have been helpful and street parking is relatively easy. However, it is anonymous and the hotel could be located anywhere. It lacks character and any distinctive details. The hotel offers an English breakfast, cereal and yogurt station, and some sad cheese and ham slices across the other side of the room. Some effort could be done on this front and try to offer guests typical gozitan delicacies. I asked for a gluten free option and all I was offered were five slices of white Schar bread. The food on display could have been easily enjoyed if the chef offered to provide made to order food to avoid risk of contamination. Furthermore no signs of allergens were present at the buffet. Overall it's a good hotel but the management is lazy from a strategic perspective. It is a pity since visitors deserve a more holistic experience during their stay in Gozo.

Excellent in every way! This newly built boutique hotel is located in the quaint village of Xaghra. It is beautifully set in a maltese type of a square. As soon as you step in you'll feel that joy of welcome! Not just a typical one. Receptionists will go that extra mile to help as well as they are highly good mannered and courtious. Beautifully decorated with spacious rooms throughout. Lovely decorated inside which will give you the needed rest. It is well clean and tidy. Breakfast is top! Whatever you're up to they provide! Everything is cooked on time and hence fresh and crispy. Hats off to the kitchen staff and restaurant staff. Highly recommended and this for sure will not be my first time there. Will sure return. Thank you Alejandro and Carol and the maltese receptionist which I can't remember his name along with the other front office staff. You're all a Gem and a credit to the hotel. Chapeau!

Great experience at this newly opened hotel. Rooms are comfortable and just what we expected. The rooms don't have a fridge which is a pity otherwise nothing to complain. Breakfast quality an be improved but these are just suggestions dor consideration. Staff are exceptional - very sweet people. Well done!

The Segond Hotel is situated in the heart of the peaceful and picturesque village of Xaghra, Gozo. We were very impressed with the quality of service, we were welcomed with a warm smile and shown to our room which exceeded our expectations. It was full of thoughtful and useful touches, beautifully finished and extremely clean. Throughout our stay the staff were friendly, polite and professional , taking care to explain where and what to see locally. A stay at the Segond Hotel is a must for anyone who appreciates quality, service and good food. Highly recommended.

Being at The Segond Hotel as two weekends one after the other was super as for the helpful staff, great quality food, so comfortable room with top cleanliness anytime of immediat efficiency and all so super. Heartily would like to thank again all the beautiful staff and the so professional general manager Mr Ronald Galea.

The place was very clean and rooms are big and neatly organised. Very friendly staff and nice quiet location

The hotel was comfortable and clean. However, we are disappointed as we never got our 50 euro they secure during check in, in case of room damages back. We will definitely not return! The pool is not larger than a bath, although advertised otherwise in pictures.

Hotel very clean, rooms spacious, staff friendly and breakfast superb with lots of choice of hot and cold food. Would greatly recommend to all who visit the magical island of Gozo.
