We was staying here in mars/april. Family of 4 with children at 8 and 17. We arrived the hotel at 21.00 at night. The reception was closed. Our taxi driver helped us contact the staff at the pool bar. So we godt the keys to the room from them. We we entered the room it was not made ready for 4 persons. The sofabed was not with linen and pollows. We contacted the pool bar and they tried to contact the hotel. They said contact us tomorrow. Luckily the girl at the pool bar gave us some linen to the sofa bed. The sofa bad was also broken. One of our children needed sleep on the broken part at the floor. Next day we complained at the reception. We wanted to change hotel. But the no wanted us to do that. We was offered another hotelroom. It looked just the same as the first room. But here the sofabed was not broken. We looked that they had repaird it many times. There are also rules that you need to pay 20 euros if you loose the keycard.! There are no beachtowels include in the price. You can buy or rent at the reception.! Children are the same as adult at the age of 12. Our booking site was allowed us to make the reservation. But they was not happy at the reception that our 17 years old children was sleeping in a sofa bed..... The pool was freezing cold. It was so sad because our youngest child love to swim. She was only swim a little and later just prefered to no swim at all. There were ants in the room and bathroom. We had our food in plastic bags. We found also cockrouch in the bathroom. There were no soap and shampoo. So this you need buy at the store... You need to wash yourself what you use in the kitchen. The washing staff came all the time to wash when we was eating breakfast. You can buy breakfast at the hotel and it is served at the pool area. Breakfast was from a menu. Not from a buffet. The pool bar take ”siesta”/closing in the middle of the day for some hours. The day we was going to travel back home we asked for late checkout. It was possible if you pay. We wanted to pay for late checkout. But we was not allowed to do it anyway. The hotel looks okay outside. But the rooms are poor. Not up to date. Slow wifi. Will not recommend for families to stay at this hotel.
Let's start with the good things - the communication with the hotel even before arrival was relatively good, they responded to our inquiries regarding the room location request, but of course they kept giving an answer that they did not commit, but when we arrived, they made a note and gave us the location we wanted (in retrospect, we did not choose well - details below). There are many sun beds around the pool, the room is spacious and the location of the hotel is excellent. Now for the things that disappointed us - we asked for a room in the center facing the pool because of the view but we found that during the whole day there is a very, very strong sun on the balcony to such an extent that it is not possible to sit there all day, it's a shame they didn't put a beach umbrella or a pergola. There was no microwave in our room even though it was supposed to be (we didn't even bother to ask), during the first three days there were massive renovations in the hotel. At first the reception representative told us that it was something specific but it really wasn't, we saw that they had put scaffolding in the rooms next to it to renovate the balconies and also on the roof there was a large team working noisily with a drill and at the same time trucks arrived and unloaded sand into the garden. All this when the hotel was fully booked in one of the most requested weeks of the year. At the entrance to our room there were glasses from the room next door that were probably pushed out for the cleaner to take but they stayed there for 4 whole days. Even though we locked the room, the cleaner entered the room (locking it from the inside has no meaning...). One day the power went out in the gym and none of the hotel staff noticed at all (I went to the reception to inform them) and the hardest thing of all - at breakfast which is in the open bar by the pool there are a lot of pigeons that come and sit on the tables and the bar and the food stalls. Most of the food is enclosed in glass installations, but the surface of the bread and the heater and the drinks and the jams and many other things are exposed to the pigeons that come and sit on them and none of the staff does anything about it. Today there are many solutions for imitating ions even using electronic sound devices. Beyond the fact that it was disgusting, it is simply dangerous, a pigeon sitting on a surface of bread is diseases. Another thing, there is a nice bar by the pool but there is only one bartender/waiter so the waiting time to get a drink is around 25 minutes and the service is not very welcoming either. There are two large and beautiful pools but the water is really cold (it's a shame they don't heat it) and it will be really difficult for smokers. There are no smoking areas at all in the entire hotel except for standing in the strong sun next to a bin in the corner of the pool and restaurant area, unable to sit down and unable to put down a drink. It was possible to find a more suitable plac
Cleanliness is everything and it’s here in abundance! The staff are amazing and a special shout out to Santa and joel at the bar. Yurena, Vanessa on reception are fabulous nothing too much trouble. The rooms are cleaned daily To A very high standard. All in all a magnificent place with maybe a few tweaks needed. No where to dry costumes and towels a little rail Would be amazing or a collapsing airer would look so much better than clothes laid over tables on every veranda, perhaps more aesthetically pleasing to the eye! The restaurant keeps very odd hours and you can’t rely on in being open but the pool bar does do the very basics and they’re quite ok. So peaceful and serene with a very boutique feel.
