We had a (pink) deluxe king room (275 sq/ft) and it was wonderful! We were not in the main building, but we’re a short walk away in the complex. There was a kind porter to help with luggage. The size was just fine for us, and we had plenty of room to store luggage under the bed or on the side of the room. The shower pressure was fantastic and the in room amenities were a wonderful touch. There is a coffee maker in the room with mini bar/fridge. No microwave. Room service breakfast (for a fee) was delicious, and the house coffee was fruity, chocolatey and delectable. Lighting was on the darker side, but people might be forgetting to turn on an overhead light on the ceiling fan. You can do this on the wall switch top button. The furnishings were modern, classy and opulent in the room and in the hotel. I truly felt like I was in the pages of a magazine, but it did not feel stuffy or pretentious at all. Staff were wonderful and helpful. After reading reviews, we brought ear plugs just in case, and we definitely used them. Noise is an issue (hence 4 stars), but if you are prepared for this, it’s not a shock. The hotel is in a fantastic, lively area with great restaurants and shopping, but it can get loud at night on the weekends. Prepare for this, and it won’t be an issue. You are charged for extras you may not use, but we greatly enjoyed the stay even when not taking advantage of the extras. We will definitely be back!
SslugabedMy daughter and I stayed in the superior double queen room. It had a view of another building, which wasn't perfect but I didn't pay for the pool view so couldn't expect better. The room was in a second building, was clean and comfortable, I loved the bathroom and the mattresses were great. It was quiet apart from one evening when they had live music but it didn't bother us. There aren't many children in the hotel, the vibe is more suitable for couples and friends groups. My daughter loved the pool nevertheless. The reception area is where the hotel is lacking, the smell is musty and it's dark and unpleasant there. The service was ok, everybody was polite and helpful. Overall, would stay there again because of the location and good value for money ratio.
Mmehl yThere was no parking or luggage storage, which, sure I should have read and realized. We found parking across the street, not a huge deal. Worse was that the room was located above a bar that played awful loud booming music past 1:00 am in the morning when we had to get up early to make our morning flight. Their wifi was out and the front desk refused to provide us with the password. Instead they insisted on entering the password into my device, which I could then go and view the password, so a completely useless piece of ”security”. Their TVs had horrible reception or were broken. I'm not sure if one of the TVs were broken or if the reception was that bad. but skin tones were so washed out and white that they appeared as blank holes in the picture. The picture was staticky and some channels had no sound. Could the stay have been worse? Yeah, it could have been worse. Was it a good stay? No, I would not recommend this location.
