The Oakwood Inn is first rate in every way--perfect location, beautiful inn (we had the entire third floor), amazing grounds, delicious food, and gracious hospitality. We would highly recommend a stay with Bridget and Bill. Plus, they are pet friendly for a small fee.

The breakfast and staff were excellent. No issues very clean and tidy.

Phenomenal!! Made the trip. One of the very best B&B’s we have been privileged to enjoy in 48 anniversaries. Don’t pass this one up!

A wonderful B & B located in the heart of the Iowa Great Lakes region! Nice, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast served daily. Park like grounds in a quiet area. Highly recommended!

Thats a amazing place full of history,excelent ubication,owners are very friendly,try the guest like they own family,everything clean ,in perfect condition,i was in 5 stars hotels before and this dont have nothing to envy one of them,quiet and clean ,great gardens with outside areas,plenty of green and nature near the city but you can feel like you be in another time far of the stress of the city,recomend 100 percent ,a inforgetable experience,history,nature and confort together to bring to you a awesome experience

Very well maintained property. The grounds were very well landscaped with several nice seating areas. This is a first class B & B with friendly, excellent proprietors.

Our room was great. Loved the fireplace and the balcony. The den downstairs was inviting. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

Bridget & Bill are wonderful hosts and always willing to help with anything around the inn or make suggestions for off the property. The property itself is lovely as are the rooms. It backs up to a nature area with paths right up to the inn property for walks or bike rides. The property grounds are beautifully landscaped with several large sitting areas. Each room also has its own outdoor table & chairs. Bridget’s breakfasts are truly something to write home about! All in all, a great place to stay.

This lace is wonderful! The owner was very nice and was often checking to see if I needed anything. The yard is gorgeous and there are a number of long nature paths close by. The whole area is gorgeous!
