Villa Gallis

When we arrived at Villa Gallis, not only were we greeted with enthusiasm and friendliness from Margarita, our host, but she had stayed an hour later in order for us to check in. The rooms are kept in pristine condition with a king size bed and a spacious shower. There is a coffee maker, kettle and fridge but no other facilities or utensils. The villa itself is located up a hill overlooking Pollonia, the walk is short and easy to get to within 10-15 minutes from the main town where there is an abundance of restaurants along the seafront to chose from and a bus stop that runs every hour or so to the lively Adamantas. I have to mention the breakfast served, it was absolutely delightful. We were seated on the terrace, facing the bright blue pool with beautiful sea views. The food was such high quality with omelette, Greek yoghurt and a platter of fruit served to us. With a boat trip planned, this set us up for the entire day! I will let the pictures speak for themselves on behalf of the pool. I can’t possibly think of a reason not to stay here!

Beautiful, charming, calm and clean villa in Greek style with beautiful view. You have everything you need: clean and fragrant towels and bedding (changed daily), mini cosmetics from Greek brand Korres, very clean and big outdoor swimming pool, iron in the room, and most importantly amazing host! Margarita is an angel who is so kind to help anytime with anything you need. Recommend 100%!

Back to Villa Gallis for 10 days . It’s always a wonderful place with an amazing view. Delicious breakfast and everything is clean. The owner is always available and give good information. Only 7 rooms and a beautiful swimming pool. I recommend this place

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The minimal rooms in the hotel and the out of town setting (10 min walk to Pollonia along a quiet road) made it feel like we had a slice of our own private Villa rather than a hotel room. The hospitality from Margahrita was exemplary and included a brilliant breakfast on each morning we wanted one. Overall, Villa Gallis was the perfect place to relax after a day exploring Milos.

Un très bel endroit calme avec une belle vue sur la baie de Pollonia . La propriétaire est au petit soin pour indiquer les bons endroits de Milos . Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propre avec un beau mobilier design . La piscine est agréable en fin de soirée

Pour visiter la fascinante île de Milos, nous avons jeté notre dévolu pour 3 nuits à la Villa Gallis, sur les hauteurs de Polonia. C'est un établissement tout propre, tout blanc, tout scintillant avec une très belle piscine malheureusement non chauffée (donc un peu trop froide au printemps) avec une vue sur Polonia et l'île de Kimolos. La chambre était grande et fonctionnelle avec une excellent literie. Petite salle de bain où il manquait juste un meuble pour poser ses affaires de bain. Grand balcon avec vue. Ce qui nous a un peu déçu, c'est le manque d'ombre au bord de la piscine qui est très exposée ainsi que les canapés. Impossible de ne pas rôtir au soleil. La nuit, si le lieu est isolé, on a été parfois dérangé par les voisins et un bruit aux alentours (il y a une carrière pas loin). Dommage. Il n'était pas possible de prendre un petit déjeuner sur place suite à un problème de cuisine ou de personnel. Ca arrive mais on aurait pu nous proposer une alternative comme un panier apporté en chambre. Vu la distance par rapport à Polonia, il vaut mieux disposer d'une voiture pour se déplacer. De là, les sites principaux de l'île sont accessibles en 20 min. A noter qu'à 500 m à pied, il y a une charmante petite plage avec un chouette bar nettement moins cher que sur d'autres plages. La propriétaire de la Villa ne nous en avait pas parlé et nous l'avons découvert par nous même. Bref, c'est presque très bien mais des détails font que Villa Gallis n'atteint pas la cote max.
