ザ ヴィンヤード カントリー ハウス(The Vineyard Country House)

A wonderful base to explore the beautiful town of Montagu. Perfectly situated, very comfortable and well appointed rooms with everything you need. Estelle is a wonderful hostess and her breakfasts are delicious. Highly recommend this establishment.

We had a lovely stay with very comfortable accommodation. The breakfast that is included, was first class. The owner of the Country House is such a lovely person. It made the stay much more personal to recieve such attention. We can recommend staying there.

We had a lovely stay. Each room is different and very nicely decorated. The garden is beautiful with a view of the vineyards but the best thing was the breakfast. Deliciously made with a lot of attention to detail. Best breakfast on the garden route.

The Vineyard Country House is a wonderful, relaxing hideaway in the heart of the lovely, historic Little Karoo town of Montagu which is the gateway to the splendid R62 route through Barrydale to Oudtshoorn. The rooms are all nicely appointed and each overlooks the well-nutured gardens. The owners are charming and helpful and the breakfasts are very good. The Vineyard is a short walk from several excellent restaurants and cafes. The Vineyard Country House is definitely worth staying at as a base for the surrounding region.

Nice room, a bit old style, outdoor shower and no proper door to the bathroom. Street traffic stopped our night early morning. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Montagu is a nice little village you‘re passing before or after driving through the Little Karoo, as part of your Garden Route trip.

I stayed for 1 night at the Vineyard to break my journey home to Cape Town, was so refreshing swimming in the pool, the view of the mountains from the garden is just breath taking. Gardens are so beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was just perfect. Would absolutely stay there again!

We were passing through montagu and decided to stay over, we hadn’t booked anywhere but happened upon this amazing guesthouse. What a find, stunning private room overlooking the pool, really friendly staff and probably one of the best breakfasts I have ever had with an amazing view. Would definitely be staying here again.
