ローズウッド ミラマー ビーチ(Rosewood Miramar Beach)

Location was not best. Service not very accommodating.

1、環境沒的説。加州數一數二的奢華酒店。房間的各項設施都很好，服務尤其好！這在美麗國很稀有。但是處處都是錢的味道。房價那麼高了，停車還要75刀。心疼！ 2、小童泳池很棒！恆温的，水深也可以。不是小baby玩的那種戲水池。 3、海灘的風景略差，尤其是發黴的太陽傘實在是忍不住吐槽一下。 4、入住的時候送了一張冰激凌券，結果衹能上午11點到下午5點可以兑換，完美錯過。結果兒子很受傷！ 5、小費的問題很混亂。第一個行李員告訴我們要付小費，第二個行李員告訴我們完全不用。So，我們到退房也不知道是該付還是不用付。

環境好，服務很棒，日式餐廳值得一去。

This is a glorious property but at breakfast the service was very polite but grossly inefficient.you can only judge what you are given …would I pay $5000 for an ocean view apartment and get unacceptable breakfast service….with a wedding being created in front of me…no way. As mentioned the property looks glorious and staff are very polite and smart but 5 star needs details and it lacked it that morning…loads of mangers “ wondering with phones” but lacking vision detail.

This is the place to stay in the Santa Barbara, Montecito area. Attention to detail is top notch and the staff are the best around. Caruso’s is a great place for dinner as well. About a 2hr drive from LA with then construction on 101. Stay in one of the villas.

We had a wonderful stay at the Miramar during a recent weekend visit to Montecito. Our room overlooking the ocean was lovely. Sitting by the fireplace watching the Masters tournament was a perfect way to spend a stormy Saturday. Every staff member we encountered from bellmen to waitresses to front desk staff were extremely friendly and personable. Of particular note was the responsiveness and friendliness of Javier, the hotel manager who dealt with a couple of issues on our behalf. He deserves special commendation! Although the weather was not accommodating to these activities, the pools, beach and bocce ball courts looked like they would be really fun when the sun shines. And the two breakfasts we ate at the hotel were very good. This is an impressive property with even more impressive staff.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights with three couples this past weekend. As other reviews have indicated the hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning. However, the service was very disappointing. All of us have stayed at luxury hotel chains throughout the world so have a good sense of what we expect at this price level. The Rosewood sadly did not deliver in this area with the exception of the housekeeping and gardening staff, the bellman, the female house car driver, and Paris in the library bar. Otherwise all the staff had a very “cannot do” attitude that I have never experienced with a luxury hotel brand, and particularly in a high end location like Santa Barbara where I am sure that most guests are more demanding than 3 couples just looking to have a special time together. From the library bar that was blaring music on Sunday night so loud we had to shout to hear each other. When we asked staff to turn it down a few notches ( there was us and one other table for 2 people) we were told it was impossible because the level was centrally controlled throughout the entire resort. It makes zero sense that the volume cannot be adjusted to reflect whether the bar is empty or full. This issue, though not a big deal in isolation, was indicative of most of our interactions with staff during our stay. We tried to get a reservation at Caruso on Sunday night for the special tasting menu. No availability for us even though we are hotel guests. Staff at the front desk suggested we walk down to the hotel in the dark and find the manager because he has to grant permission for tables of six people or greater. Apparently they have no ability to contact the manager from the front desk. Keeping in mind we had been asking all day for the reservation with no one able to help us try and secure one. Since there were few people at the resort Sunday night I suspect they gave tables to non hotel guests and kept nothing for their own guests. Instead we had dinner in Riviera, the breakfast restaurant with no other tables occupied and zero ambience. The server was unable to answer any questions about the wine list and suggested we wait while they called the sommelier to come up from Caruso’s. We took a pass on that offer. Such underwhelming interactions with staff were plentiful and ranged from politely dismissive to downright can’t be bothered trying to help. It was mind boggling and with the reviews this hotel has something must be going on at a management level at the moment. There were a lot of young staff and maybe training on high end hotel service is lacking. I’m not sure but I do know it was very disappointing to the six of us who were really looking forward to the Rosewood experience. While we are usually loyal to the Four seasons brand, we have stayed at Rosewoood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany and it was incredible. After visiting Montecito for many years, it was my first time at the Rosewood Miramar. I decided to have lunch with a friend at the restaurant and it was delicious! My first preference was to be seated outside, but to my disappointment, the weather wasn't cooperating. Let me add, that the server (I apologize, I can't remember the young lady's name) was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and timely with the food. Plus, the linen exceeded my expectations. I ordered the salmon and had to add the fries too! I'm looking forward to another visit when I can reserve a room for a few days.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in California! It was so perfect that I want to go back. We went as a family because my niece was getting married in Santa Barbara. Between the outstanding rooms, gorgeous lobby (with amazing shopping), and the best French pastry chef to destroy anyone's diet, our trip was perfect. This is truly one of my favorite experiences and I would love to go back during polo season.
