This was the worse all inclusive resort I have ever stayed at. I went to celebrate my 50th birthday with my husband and 6 family members. The food was consistently cold such as the porridge and soups. The food at the buffet also ran out on a daily basis, without another solution. There was a place called The Grill that only offered hotdogs (which were not hotdogs, but spicy sausage) and hamburgers. For the 6 days that was the only option, not beef patties or alternative choices. We never had oxtails, instead one day the meal was Turkey necks as the item being served (we call that poor man oxtails), which was outrageous. We spent good money to be there and the expectations was never met. There was never any boiled dumplings on the menu, instead there was yam, banana, pumpkin and sweet potatoes. The food choices were not authentic Jamaican, every morning the biggest meal was scrambled eggs. I can make scrambled eggs in my house, I’m not spending that money for eggs. The fruits were limited to melons, pineapple and grapes. No mangos, ripe bananas, strawberries etc etc. The customer service was horrendous, the servers at the buffet had bad attitudes with no sense of hospitality. They would suck their teeth and roll their eyes. We would sit for 10 minutes without being spoken to or beverage orders not being taken. We felt as if we were bothering the servers. My cousin when she went into her room, the bathroom had NO TOWELS, floor mat, nor washcloths. My Aunt’s room the television did not work. My room the ceiling fan did not work. The cleanliness of the rooms were subjective, the floors were not swept/mopped before we were given the room. I kept saying to my family, “am I being punked”, this experience can’t be real. There was no night life, by 9:30 everything shut down. There was a club on the property that was not advertised. We went 3 nights as a group, and we would be the only people in there. Give and take 1 - 4 other people who would leave shorty because it was empty. I wish they promoted the club, the music was good and the ambiance was right. My Uncle made a statement, “he would not stay there again for free”. I have to recognize Dwayne Smith, at the front desk he exudes good service, it’s a shame he’s with this company/resort. The Chef Roxanne made my birthday special by making ackee and salt fish for my birthday, when it wasn’t on the menu that day. I’m thankful for her above and beyond gesture. Also I thank Jamar/Jamal who also worked the dining area, who lined up for the Chef to make the food. Also Eunett was the only female sever with good Customer Service, she stayed on top her tables, smiled, was pleasant and took care of us. The last server the day we left was the best, I did not get his name but he was tall and slim with a hair net over his hair. He was witty, funny and a complete pleasure before our drinks were empty he was refilling, he picked up empty plates and worked our table. I asked him where was he all week, and he said it wa
