Hotel Maharana Inn Chembur

I loved the stay at the hotel. Have booked it through the Hotel's website. And had informed to keep neat and tidy. Had a fantastic experience. Clean bed and toilet was super clean. Would love visiting again for the stay. Sharing only image I clicked. Regards Ashok

I booked two rooms for 3 nights and both rooms had issues which were never resolved. The service provided is very poor, the toilets flush didn't work for 3 days even after repeated complaints. Had to use mug to clean commode. There is no hot water facility, you would be lucky if your room gets some lukewarm water at best. I paid additional money for triple occupancy but was not provided an extra bed even after promise of providing one at the time of check-in. Rooms are cramped which is expected in Mumbai but the lackadaisical attitude of the reception and service staff was a big letdown. A big NO to this hotel if you are traveling with family.

There seemed to be minor issues. The key card put into the power slot did not work on the door. I had to get another/validated for the room. Later when I wanted to leave my room, the door wouldn't open. From inside! Staff were helpful in resolving it, but they should get it serviced. TV... I would have like a face towel and not just the bath towels. No stirrer in the coffee/tea kit. Toilet paper roll nearly over, but no ready replacement. I shouldn't have to ask for all these. I liked that it was clean, easy to get to, easy to attend an event nearby and walk back late night. Their veg restaurant was good for a simple meal.

Very noisy. Keycard had to be reset each day(3 days). The decor was not very tidy, old and banged up.

The hotel is really rundown. Everything is old and broken, the painting on the walls is coming off and the walls are dirty. The bedsheets were obviously not changed for at least some time, as they were dirty, stained and had hairs on it. At least they changed them after complaining. There were also many mosquitos, as the insect nets were broken. It's also quite far from the center. Quite expensive for what you get and one of the worst hotels on our trip through India. Not recommended!

Location is best suitable for us consulate visa interview 6 km 20 25 min Bus stop is near by easily can go to sidi vinayak temple by ac bus 92 Standard room size is too small ok for 1 night stay I will suggest go for other room Monorail station is also near by

Dont be fooled by the pictures & website. Terrible hotel, rooms are smelly & in urgent need for upgrade. Not even a 1* can be given. Dont book the hotel. Our guests checked out - even their suite rooms are not worthy for any price. Had booked with the hotel directly - left after 1 night as unbearable staying conditions - it is a chawl which is mentioned earlier. Ocrouse they refused to refund !

All good except the lady at reception doesn't know how to talk to guest, very rude. Need training. Thanks

It was an average hotel, all staff/people were good except reception lady (day time) is very rude while check in process.
