Poor amenities, location good, staff helpful. The hotel has a centralized geyser where the water is not warm at times.. food quality was poor. Rooms are outdated and require maintenance.. The hotel is at a height and the entrance is steep..

The hotel is at one end of the lake and isolated from the crowd. The lake facing rooms are priceless. Staff is very cordial and helpful. My only suggestions to the hotel would be to provide hot water for 24 hours and add continental items to menu.

Food and service are good here. 200 miter from nainital lake.Only problem is here 100 meters straight diff .on which hotel is present.Else food and service are good.Pick heritage room those are lake facing,quality of standard room is so so.

Service of hotel is poor. Staff is rude and unsupportive. Hotel staff used to take more time to come for any service. Geyser is not available. Hot water is provided through centrally connection which is mostly closed by the hotel. Stay here is not a money value option.

I have stayed in hotel Himalaya in the 3rd week of December 2019.This hotel is located near nainital bus stand which is only plus point otherwise nothing special about this hotel. It's is situated at a very steep height and not recommended at all for any age group. Food and staff both are average. Heritage room was spacious but with ordinary facilities.Be aware of dogs outside hotel as they might attack on you as happened in my case bitten my 5 year old kid. A complete no go hotel until unless no other accommodation available.

One of the best location on Tallital with lake view. Hotel had good parking facilities. Less traffic as compared to Mallital. Hotel is old construction, so expect everything aged & used. Wireless internet connection is patchy at certain places.

Pros: Location nearer to Mall Road, Rooms through need bit of face uplift are spacious and give a heritage feeling. Cons: Housekeeping needs much improvement. Food is decent in taste but basic things like options in buffet which is quite limited, lack of sufficient cutleries are a concern in their area of hospitality.

I have booked a standard room in this hotel through Agoda which costs 4.5 inclusive tax.They have upgraded my room into heritage room. The hotel is situated in Tallital,the Nainital lake has two portion Tallital and Mallital. You can see lake from the hotel..though I have booked city view room. Regarding hotel I must say nice hotel,helpful staff,food is tasty and rich in quantity...staff Mohan and Dinesh remarkably good. They maintain cleanliness of the room very nicely. You can get hot water in the tap from 6.00 am to 12.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm....They also provide you hot water in bucket if you need beyond this time...One negative point is that the road is very steep from the bus stand to reach the hotel...if you have aged persons ,then it will be difficult to reach the hotel through walking. But you can get bike taxi. I am giving you the no of a bike taxi...HE***T..8869814079....honest guy
