The hotel has a very relaxed feel and is an ideal stopover for travellers arriving in Nairobi from JKIA before continuing their trip via Wilson air*****. I walked to Wilson from the hotel! A beautiful place to visit with delicious meals and comfortable and spacious room. Clean environment with friendly employees. Very accessible from the capital city and Jomo Kenyatta international airport.

This place defines “service with a smile” - from checkin to the amazing breakfast and lunch buffets and delightful dinners at Tamambo restaurant or poolside hang (where if you’re lucky you’ll get to know the ever effervescent Evelyn. She is the best!) to the gorgeous drinks in the Dawa Lounge where David and Jimmy will show you true passion and the artistry of making the perfect drink.(Try the Whisky Smash - get your blueberries! Have two! it’s good for you!) The Tamarin is a stunning and continuous delight of art and design, but most impressive is the service. At every turn, I felt someone literally going out of their way to- literally literally - make every day and night begin and end with a smile. It may sound trite, but it felt like home - I was so exhausted and upside down after the 14 hour flight and two sleepless nights before, but the moment I arrived, all i wanted to do was stay awake to savor every moment. But don’t worry - the rooms were sparkling clean and the beds were just right. This Must Be the Place.

Mkutano set up was awesome with a lounge to have tea and cofffee. Temperature control, seating arrangement and lavatory locations not too far. Buffet lunch was a blast, spoilt for choice and service with a smile from Evelyn and Victor.

The Tamarind Hotel Nairobi was a fantastic place to stay for my week-long trip! The staff was incredibly friendly and accessible, but two individuals truly went above and beyond. Magdalen provided exceptional customer care, and I was also lucky to meet the selfless Jared. Their service really elevated my stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Tamarind - it's a great choice for anyone visiting Nairobi

Leon the Receptionist, Immaculate the Reservations Agent and Raynard the Assistant Front office manager were very hospitable...they were very Expressive, keen to details, very informed and Wonderful...Rono the Gym Instructor was also very friendly...the place is more than amaaazing especially the views,,,from Wilson views, garden views to the Carnivore grounds views..The ambience of the restaurant,coffee house and the bar was breathtaking!!,no place I'd rather be when I go to Langata!!! I highly recommend!

We checked into tamarind tree hotel last night after being met at Jomo Kenyatta International airport by our company bodyguard, porter and driver. All of them had signs with our names on it so we knew we were being met by the same company. It took about 25 minutes to drive to the hotel. The check-in process was seamless and the hotel is clean and comfortable. We were in room 243 and it’s very comfortable. I noticed the mattress does not transmit night motion at all. This morning I noticed the shower heated up quickly and delivered a good stream of water, but not hard. Watch out for the tile floors in the bathroom and entryway. They are very slippery when wet. We had coffee provided by the hotel, but the two small 12 ounce bottles of water provided. We’re insufficient for making coffee. We just boiled the water from the tap. At Breakfast I discovered Tree tomato which I had never tasted before. I thought it very nice . They also had passionfruit three kinds of milk and oat porridge along with the assorted breads, egg station and every kind of pastry we’ve had in hotels in the past. I also discovered toasting. The rolls were quite good. Evelyn, our server was very friendly and a joy to talk with.

Evelyn is an awesome waitress. Rooms are large and quiet. Aircon good. Breakfast spread was excellent. Quiet area away from traffic noise, good security and well placed for easy access to main tourist attractions and Wilson airport. Overall great experience
