Cleans rooms, but the beddings are old and torn. The overall ambience of the rooms is okay. Curtains are dusty, blanket and pillow smell aweful and stuffy. The staff are generally freindly and helpful.

It was an average hotel in a very busy and crowded location. Staffs are good and very helpful. Mr. Luke is exceptionally good and always checked with me if I need anything and my stay with them is comfortable. They have a decent restaurant that serve international foods and drinks. Breakfast is simple and adequate.

Came here for a 1-night transit as part of my safari tour. Simple budget accommodation on a busy street in the city. Didn't venture out as not sure if it is safe, but luckily hotel restaurant on the 2nd floor is very good! Do get a window seat, have a tusker beer and enjoy your dinner while you overlook the street downstairs.. lots of street stalls and many locals walking around.

This is the hotel that totally changed my life in a bad way. i wouldn't advise anyone to book this hotel,i was very stressed because of their service. i will never dare to think of this hotel and i wouldn't advise anyone to do so

Imagine falling into the hands of an airport taxi driver who charged you $100 for a $15 ride at 2AM, cooked up various stories to ensure you don't get to the hotel of your choice but instead took you to Dicasa hotel because of an agency arrangement he has with the hotel. Thereafter, the hotel that was supposedly built to satisfy customers connived with the taxi driver to charge you $300 for a 7-day stay (instead of $140 - $150 max). The story doesnt end here. The following morning, you woke up to have breakfast, and the receptionist advised you to carry your laptop bag along with you "for safety purposes". You immediately discovered that the hotel is not safe because of that statement, pack your bags to leave (after spending just one night), and the hotel decided to charge you almost $145 for the one night stay to cover "agency fees that you weren't informed of from the onset, and cancellation fee". That was my experience at Dicasa Hotel, Nairobi on Sunday, 4th July, 2021. Key points. 1. you don't want to stay in this hotel. it is not safe 2. whenever you are in Kenya, use the network at the airport to book an uber to your destination. 3. if you have to ride with an airport taxi, dont believe any story they tell you. It is all for the hotel commission they will get and the high fees for rides. And negotiate your cab fee before the journey to your hotel begins. And like I said, go to the hotel of your choice irrespective of the story, especially at odd hours of the night.
