Rooms are nice and clean with air con and fan. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Breakfast selection of omlette, eggs or waffles with chai tea was great! Location is a close cab ride to the Fort area and Gateway of India. Recommend trip to Elephant island and walking around University area.

We are regular to this hotel since many years and our most memorable stays in Mumbai are associated with Elphinstone Hotel. The staff are friendly,welcoming and prompt to cater to any need, Akmal being one of them with his soft and kind demeanour. Very near to Gateway of India, Taj Mahal hotel and the best eateries. My favourite shopping area ,the Colaba causeway, a 5 minutes drive by Taxi. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay. Evgeniia and Amarjyoti

We had 2 day a lovely stay ELPHINSTONE HOTEL DEMELLO ROAD MUMBAI! Our room was comfy, clean and we had service every day. The receptionist team was very friendly, and professional. "SPECIAL THANKS TO MR.KUSHAL SIGN VERY HELP FULL AND KIND PERSON" The breakfast and service was nice and fast. I would highly recommend this hotel. YAMIN BOTAWALA

The service from the entire staff was outstanding! They went above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel offers great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting South Bombay. The breakfast, especially considering the price, was fantastic – definitely worth it!

Excellent stay!!. Staffs were very polite and helpful especially khushal Singh . Food was great overall. Hotel is located in a very good area and VT station is in walking distance. Rooms are clean and maintained . Loved my stay and would stay in hotel elphinstone whenever I will visit Mumbai.

Alphenston hotel is one of the best hotel in the heart of the city. Best location.good atmosphere. Very neat and tidy rooms.staff is very helpful ,sincere and mentains the values. It's a perfect combination quality and price. It was a very clean hotel with a very kind staff. The beds were confortable and with good service of ac. The breakfast is tasty and the ubication is near the train station and it's very easy to take a taxi.

this place is super! staff genuinely cares. chef wants to be sure you enjoyed the free breakfast, which is served long hours, from 7:30 to 11:00! front desk and helpers were very attentive. spotlessly clean, and the bed was really comfortable! i had a corner room, with two windows. even if you get a smaller room with no windows, you can step out into the long narrow dining room or long narrow front lounge and have some chai and work on your laptop. i felt like the staff were family, always kind and helpful. highly recommended!
