When we arrived we were taken on a tour of the premises which are rambling and not easy to find your way around. We were surprised to be shown one splash pool after another! I didn't see anyone using any of the pools during our stay. Breakfast was a small buffet catering for those who like cake, cold meat and cheese for breakfast, plus two cereals. The staff were happy to make something special for breakfast but we had no idea what was available - a menu would be useful. The worst thing about our stay was on the last evening we arrived back to find there was no running water in our room. There was nobody there to fix the problem but I eventually found the phone number and called to report that we had no water. The person I spoke to told me that some work had been done during the day but the worker had gone and she would call him. When the man arrived he told us that he had been working on the water but had forgot to turn our water back on. I found it hard to believe that a place like Chapel5 that takes great trouble to promote itself would make such a simple and needless mistake. This mistake caused us considerable inconvenience because we had booked dinner at a local restaurant and we didn’t want to be late. Overall our stay was not a good experience.

My wife and I much enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Ayana Suite. Verena runs this excellent family B&B with a great team who all make it a very welcoming stay. Nice base from which to explore the nearby attractions in Malta with good restaurants nearby.

We had a lovely week in Chapel 5 Naxxar, Verena and her staff , in particular Marianne were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and informative and they made my birthday special decorating my room and providing Prosecco and cake for breakfast. The boutique hotel is very beautifully furnished and has a lovely plunge pool and spa area. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The local area has great restaurants and a lovely friendly feel. We particularly enjoyed eating out at Brass and Knuckle and Ta’stringi . I had a pedicure at nearby Jordy which was wonderful too..the hotel is in a great spot for exploring the island using the bus or Bolt taxi

Had a very pleasant week at Chapel 5. Hosts are very attentive. Breakfast included was plentiful and of a very high standard. The suites are very well located for exploring Naxxar and the rest of the island. Chapel 5 was very clean. Our room was nice and spacious. The amenities were very good and overall Chapel 5 was a fantastic place to stay and I will definitely be returning. Thank you Verena and Omar for making us very welcome and for making our stay at Chapel 5 a memorable one.

A lovely oasis of calm in Malta. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. Excellent rooms and breakfasts I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this as fantastic place to stay in Malta.
