ザ ショー クラブ ホテル(The Shaw Club Hotel)

One of the hotels I usually stay when I am in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Very friendly and attentive staff, great rooms (this time, we stayed in a Club Room), and quite clean as well. There are a few minor things that need attention, such as a loose faucet on the sink, a broken off corner on the walls here and there, a hasty silicone fix in the bathroom (could have been done much better) -- but, all in all: The Shaw Club Hotel is still a very good choice for your stay in this beautiful town.

Parking was very easy, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and exceeded our expectations, all the shopping and dining you need is within very short walking distance.

The hotel is really nice! Location is perfect just 2 blocks away from the Prince Edward Hotel. The only thing I would say is that the bed's skirt was with a hole. I think at this price point $200 per day you expect everything perfect. Shower is a plus!

Nice clean property with very comfortable beds. Staff was very kind and helpful in giving recommendations in the area as well! Glad we stayed at The Shaw Club Hotel for our visit to Niagara on the Lake!

Room wasn't as shown in pictures. It clearly lacked maintenance or better to say it requires renovation.

Great water pressure in the shower, soft towels and great location at the end of the *****. Furniture is looking a bit worn and the air conditioner\heater unit probably needs to be upgraded. Room was hot and air dry even when the thermostat was turned down.

Do not book in the rooms in the adjacent building. We thought a room with a fireplace in the middle of winter would be great, but the room was very,very tired with an old Jacuzzi tub IN THE ROOM! They tell you there is a flight of stairs you have to go up to get to the rooms,but they are very steep and narrow making it difficult to get your luggage up. The dark narrow hallway at the top of the staircase reminded us of The Shinning. If you want ice or water, it is in the other building and you either go out in the cold or ask them to get some for you - but you still need to give them the ice bucket and a tip. There is only coffee in the for you to have in the morning, but you can it can be delivered to your room - tipping again. Their main building looks nice and very modern and we did enjoy the dining room although it has very limited hours. We needed another coffee cup because of a large chip in it, but couldn't get one because the dining room didn't open until 5. Their front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating, but they are the ones that must leave their post and make the deliveries. The bathroom has no heat source, so we propped the door open with a bag to warm it up. Very, very disappointed with the room,but not the service only that you had to be tipping for things that should have been in the room.

It was a great experience. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately the fridge in our room wasn’t working so we had to leave anything refrigerated at the front desk.

The room was very quiet and in a great location to be able to walk everywhere. Everything was extremely comfortable.
