We absolutely loved the hotel. It’s beautiful inside and out, great service and amazing breakfast. They were very helpful with booking activities and let us stay a bit longer to wait for our car. L

Lynden Grove is a lovely little English style hotel not far from the Grand Hotel. We felt very at home being British in Nuwara Eliya! We stayed in the room with the spa bath and the water was nice and hot on a cool evening. The staff are all very friendly and we'd definitely stay here again!

Lovely little hotel in Nuwara Eliya. We stayed 2 nights and ate dinner here on both nights. Dinner very good but quite westernised with no real Sri Lankan food on offer. We had a spacious bedroom was there was building works going on in surrounding area - so not much of a view from our room. Very attentive staff comfortable but firm beds.probably suggest that you only need to spend 1 night in Nuwara Eliya.

Hidden gem of a hotel, beautifully decorated and well maintained. Close to the centre and so much nicer than the large hotels. Staff are so attentive and really take pride in their hotel. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. We’d definitely stay again, one night was not long enough.

What a lovely hotel this is in a good area of Nuwara Eliya, away from the hubub of the busy city and not far from the Gregory Lake. We had a very comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated room, a very good meal in the restaurant and a nice breakfast. the staff was friendly and helpful. the only thing to note is that this hotel does not serve alcohol, so does not have a bar or serve wine with meals so if you are looking forward to your evening cocktail, you might be, as we were, a little disappointed.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms! The Oak room has a double jacuzzi that was an amazing treat after a long day. The staff is as amazing as the hotel. The food as amazing as the staff. A wonderful place to stay when you are in this area. The rooftop patio is a nice addition!

We stayed 3 nights and it was a nice experience. The hotel is located near the city center. Rooms are comfortable, nice, and stylish! Western breakfast and dinner was delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful! We had a nice relaxing stay at The Lynden Grove and would love to repeat it!!

Some would call it a quaint hotel. It's really just a very small place of about 12 rooms. We had a room on the second floor with no windows or natural light. High windows with blinds. It was very stuffy and hot despite it being in a cooler part of the country. Service was outstanding. The young boys were so willing to help and deserve to be properly trained. There was a basic choice on a western menu and breakfast was very ordinary. No alcohol so couldn't have a beer with dinner which was weird. Would honestly have preferred an ordinary hotel

Nice interior and really really friendly staff! Liked the people here. We had the big room in the attic and while we were astonished by size and style, the details were disappointing: Room height made it impossible for the small heater to warm it up (our visit in November was chilly) Shower had no ventilation, mold spreading Shower warm water lasted for only 3 minutes, then water just stopped Wifi didn’t work (no problem, our Lanka aim cards did) Dinning room chilly
