We spent a weekend on the Golf Stay and Play package. It is still a 12 hole course but continuous improvement and very soon 18 holes. Course was in great shape and challenging enough. Our only issue with golfing was that the brand new golf cart that was set up for us - apparently had a pool of water in the belongings compartment, unbeknownst to us. Apparently not checked or cleaned prior to being set up for us. My husband put his very new cell phone in the cubby and discovered on the second Ts that the phone was submerged in a pool of water!! Not good - and is a complete loss! So unfortunate when we really did enjoy the golfing. On our Sat morning round we shared this with the nice young fella getting carts ready and he said they are all to be wiped out prior to set up for golfers. We stayed at the Inn which we had been to a few years ago when skiing with our kids. The King superior rooms are a great size with a lovely sunken living area for relaxation. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel has aged but updated bathrooms and were very clean. I do have to say that there doesnt seem to be any noise insulation at all. We could hear a mother assisting a child in the shower next door as well as a group of young children apparently completely unsupervised running and screaming in the halls until 1130 pm. No idea where the parents were but they often hollered - 'come to my room, there is no one there!" At some point someone else must have complained as you could hear that conversation amongst the kids. The next morning the groundskeeper began mowing the lawn right against the hotel at 0730. I would think they couldve begun the mowing further away from the hotel bright and early. Other than this the hotel was good, front desk very welcoming. Good communication and cheerful welcoming.
