Such a beautiful and well located place to stay in Ecuador.. The accommodations, staff and food exceeded expectations by far! The town of Otavalo was great shopping, dining, hanging around enjoying the music in the plaza and people watching. Within an hour of Las Palmeras there are numerous adventures to be had. Beautiful volcano hikes, waterfalls, thermal (and mud) baths, magnificent Haciendas, towns with gorgeous handmade treasure. Too much to mention! Loved spending time here with my family. Can't wait to return!

We escaped the Texas heat to this idyllic boutique hotel to share the wonders of the Andes with family. Las Palmeras provided the relaxing setting, delicious meals, warm fires, resident llamas and the friendliest staff while we explored Cuyacocha volcano, Hacienda Zuleta, local hot springs, Quechua cooking class and of course the vibrant indigenous market in Otavalo.

We received such a warm and friendly welcome at Las Palmeras. They are genuinely caring hosts and have included some lovely touches, which made us feel at home - such as lighting the fire in our room while we were having dinner and popping a hot water bottle in our bed! The food is delicious and home grown in their garden. A genuinely comfortable and relaxed stay.

I highly recommend this place! The staff is super nice, the food is delicious, and the grounds are beautiful. I went with a group as part of a study abroad program. Only downside is the WiFi isn’t super fast and in some places doesn’t work the best, but that wasn’t a problem for me!

We had a very ejoyable stay here with lovely food. The room was spacious and a hot water bottle was placed in the bed and a fire lit without being requested. Cosy. Very attractive gardens . Highly recommend

Wonderful place to stay in Otavalo , easily accessible by car , near to the town, parque Condor and roads to the lagunas Mojanda or laguna Quicocha . The garden of this property full of charm is beautiful , well maintained , with lots of flowers, trees and even a vegetable garden. The cottage is so nice and comfortable with a leaving room including a fireplace , the bedroom (very good beds in which you find a hot water bottle when you go to bed) and hot water for the shower. You have a nice breakfast and can enjoy diner in a well decorated room with a dome (which was probably the chirch). Even better are the people taking care of you ; everyone is so nice and so professional . Special thanks to the nice man who lighted the fireplace for us . Stayed 2 nights but it can be more!
