Auberge King Edward Bed and Breakfast

What a beautiful bed and breakfast. Was so easy to check in and Richard was an amazing host with the help of Sandy! The location was within walking distance of so many attractions. The fresh croissants and muffins at breakfast were delicious. We are planning a trip to Paris and he shared some of his favorite places to go and things to do. Will stay here again!

We so appreciated our time at Auberge King Edward! Richard is a most welcoming host who really helped orient us to the city and its sights. The Auberge is very well located which made walking an easy option, and being able to freely park our car onsite was so appreciated. The freshly prepared breakfasts are warm, generous and delicious. Thank you Richard (and Sandy) for a wonderful stay!

Richard goes above and beyond for his guests. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to plenty of restaurants and all of the sites and museums. We will certainly book there again next time we visit Ottawa. It was a lovely stay.

Really amazing, more than 100 years old house in Ottawa downtown. Beautiful garden, nice rooms with own balcony. Richard, the owner, was very friendly and recommended us the best places and events to visit in Ottawa. Breakfast was delicious, especially muffins with berries, which Richard baked by himself. Sandy, amazing and very friendly dog gave us unforgettable and very positive emotions.

Auberge King Edward is such a unique, interesting and beautiful home. The host is friendly and professional. A healthy breakfast is included. Richard makes THE best homemade berry muffins. Location is central. We had a wonderful stay and definitely will be coming back!

Auberge King Edward is a lovely place to stay. The host, Richard, is hospitable and welcoming, and offers good advice on where to walk and what to visit in Ottawa. The breakfast is wonderful and fresh. I really enjoyed my stay in the Tower Room, and look forward to returning to Ottawa -- and Auberge King Edward -- in the future.

Our stay at the Auberge was a delight from start to finish - from our warm welcome to the stories of this incredible old home beautifully restored and a breakfast that sustained us long into the day. Well located for walking distance around town. Our room had a balcony providing a quiet respite for sipping wine before a restful sleep. Highly recommended.

Our stay at the Auberge King Edward was exceptional. Richard and his delightful dog Sandy are wonderful hosts. This period home, on a block of registered heritage buildings, is beautifully appointed with all sorts of interesting furniture and objects. The breakfast was delicious. It is; however, Richard’s magnificent garden with all sorts of exotic plants, that is a true wonder. And, he not only cares for his own garden, he has landscaped and tends to the gardens in the entire block! Honestly, if you are looking to stay in central Ottawa, you couldn’t find a better place! We will definitely be returning.

Our stay at Auberge Kind Edward was very enjoyable. Richard and Sandy are amazing hosts. The house is beautiful and special. We enjoyed the daily delicious breakfast and in the evenings drinks on the upper deck. The gardens are beautiful and a pleasure to come back to each day.
