ネイチャートレイルクンダリカ、コラド(Nature Trails Kundalika, Kolad)

We were a group of 15 Adults & 2 Children and stayed for 1N at the Sterling Nature Trails at Kundalika Kolad resort recently. a) Location - It is located in the Kamath village at Kolad and one will need assistance of the Google Maps to reach to this secluded resort (located in the lap of nature). The roads are in good condition except the last 500 Meters which is undeveloped / not maintained. There is ample parking space available at the property. It is must to have your own vehicle since public transport will not be immediately / easily available. b) Rooms - We stayed at the Regular AC tent which accomodates 4 people (one double bed & two single beds). The tents are in okay condition but clean. The bathrooms were clean as well; there no toiletries provided except 3 small bars of soap. Four (4) bottles of mineral water of 500 ml each were placed at the time of checking-in. A jug of water is placed outside the tents (1 for 4 tents) for refilling the water bottles. The window ACs were working fine. However, as mentioned by several other reviewers, the rooms are dimly lit & hence, enjoying cards or board games at night becomes difficult. c) Food - We paid for full board and the buffet lunch, dinner & breakfast served is good. They arrange for hi-tea and snacks like Onion Pakoda, Potato fries for extra charges. Vaibhav helped us by arranging ice-creams (at extra cost) after dinner. The restaurant staff is helpful and caters to our requests in their best possible ways. Please be considerate that there are limited resources available at the property and hence, unrealistic requests may not be fulfilled. The taste & quality of the food is above average but definitely worth the money that we spent on the package. The restaurant is open from all sides and has a shed and because of the location amidst greenery / forest area, there are flying insects at night which may disturb your peaceful dinner. The restaurant premise and utensils are maintained in clean conditions. Requesting the ***agement to upgrade the handwash area. d) Activities - We were offered complimentary activities - Zip-Line, Burma Bridge, Tarzan Swing, Kayaking and a treasure hunt game in the evening - which are all well guided and supervised by their team. ***oj, ***ohar and their team gave detailed instructions before every activity and are very friendly. e) Other important points - There are no TVs or WiFi in the room which may make your stay boring unless you are a group of people. This is an ideal place for picnic when you are in a group (families, friends or office colleagues). Only couples or single nuclear families may avoid this unless you want to travel this far only to be all alone by yourself without access to TV or mobile or internet or outside world. This place is far from the river rafting start point but the transportation for rafting is arranged by the resort at extra costs. Although we visited in summer (Apr23) but still weather was not so humid due to property in amidst  jungle.  Activity- Kayaking and water rafting are good. Kayaking organised by resort as resort is near to river. Water rafting is through third party and start point for rafting is 20 km from resort. Room- one will find lot of  negative reviews for regular AC tent. But we stayed there in summer and it was completely value for money. It has window AC so might take 20-25 minutes in cooling entire room. As I said in all value for money. Food- very limited variety, below average quality. For short stay of a day it could be fine but for long stay of 2-3 days people will find it not challenging. Lot of people complaining that they charge heavy for water bottle. One can use RO water cooler, so no problem of water. Yes if you need bottle water then it could cost a bit as property is not surrounded with market/city.

It was very nice, loved the stay it was very nice and comfortable and food was amazing, Activities were also very fun to do and Mr Rushikesh our trip advisor was very helpful for sudden requests(conference room and guidance)

Good property for vacation with frnds family good food staff are friendly...attraction is private river side for kayaking. You can also do river rafting and activities like zipline. overall good property. Do try premium tents as well

We had our overnight stay at sterling nature trails kundalika on 16th June. Right from the reservation query till the time of check-out, your esteem help and thorough guidance exceeded all our expectations and left us in awe of its sheer brilliance. The location of the resort is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled amidst pristine natural beauty, it offered a serene and tranquil escape from the hustle bustle of everyday life. And on top if that, we interacted with you well trained , groomed staff . They not only taken care of us at all the moments, in fact they helped us change our bus tyre too when we asked for help. "Vaibhav" is so calm and composed that I never hesitated to reach out to him throughout our stay. Adventure activities, food , stay was top notch. Everyone loved your "Daal" and "Gulaab jaamun". Indeed it is an unforgettable vacation experience.

All are ok. Just improve room interior and cleanliness (Tent) all activities are fantastic and enjoyable. Rafting is awesome 😎😎😎💯 Good natural place for group and family. Kundalika River kayaking too beautiful ❤️

First of all I will say that Trip adviser has become commercial than putting true reviews. They are interested in making money by bookings Like Makemytrip ,Gogibo etc So let get to review.. Location wise Sterling Nature Trails Kundalika has good advantage ... Its full of nature... But property needs good maintenance.. Road to resort from Village Kamath is horrible... But they are list bothered becos they feel its an adventure to reach to us.. Food is soso ... They are charging Rs 350/- but giving village food served in marriages... Hardly costing Rs 200/- They serve one Non Veg --Chicken dish which is not upto mark ... Horrible I found they are taking advantage of location which they will not get for years to come .. If they don't Improve. Tents are closed with cloth from inside and no view of outside... with out windows..... Dont know whose idea to put tent under roof and civil structure.... No glasses for water and telecom facility in rooms ... No Chairs to sit outside in Vharanda and relax... Overall Its okay... Will explore better options in our next visit...

We were there for 2nights. Day1 we had the premium tents, it was very well maintained. The staff are courteous, the food was good, though very spicy. The same altered after request. Day2, we had to shift to the regular tents. These tents are kept in THE MOST PATHETIC DIMLY LIT conditions. AC non functional, just making loud noise, the washrooms worst maintained broken tiles, dirty bath curtains, no holders to keep toiletries, the center plank of the cots with iron legs are ready to give way. Definitely the DINGY N DIRTY tents were NOT worth the steep price paid. The adventure sports and activities were the main attraction and it was well organised.
