We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. Claudia (on front desk) and Fasie (not sure I've spelt his name right) in the rooftop bar went out of their way to make us feel special. But, as I've said, everybody went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely experience. The breakfasts were incredible - everything imaginable that one could want and constantly replenished. The amount of choice was extraordinary and everything super fresh. The location of the hotel was perfect for both accessing the water front and being able to walk from the hotel into the centre. When we return (which we will) we shall choose a different category of room. Our room was a courtyard option which we found very dark with nowhere to sit. There were two very uncomfortable, barely functional, chairs, so even having a morning coffee in the room was not very appealing. However, the bathroom was excellent, which is so important. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We are hoping to return in May 2025.

Tired 4* hotel in a poor location at the top of a steep hill. Rooms are a generous size and in good condition. Public areas and pool are uninviting. Price per night of around €190 is ludicrously expensive for this location / condition. On a more positive note, staff are nice, good bus service ( around 20 mins ride time ) into Central Palma. Great little cafe 75m away from the front of the hotel ( but that's it, there are no other amenities near by. Not terrible hence 3*s, but hard to love or recommend
Stayed here for 7 days and writing this review just after checking out, all in all a nice hotel but with some pros and cons. Cons: - Room is a LOT smaller than advertised, with just enough room to walk around the bed. We paid for a decent room and expected what was shown on the pictures for ‘our room’ category but it was false advertisement. - Building site is noisy and an eye sore while sat around the pool. I actually knew about this before we booked but looking at the pictures from previous reviews it looked like most of the structure was up so the noisy bits were finished, I was wrong. I feel they should tell people on booking about it. - No table or chairs on balcony. We paid a lot for the room too through *********** and the pictures advertised for that room were nothing like what we booked. I called reception every single day on my 7 day holiday to ask for a chair and they promised the next day we could get one, we never got one. This would be ok if there was somewhere else to sit in the room but there is nowhere other than the bed. So we lay on the bed and played cards in the evening and didn’t use the balcony. We had a sea view too, so a shame we couldn’t sit out. - Pool bar closes at 5pm, they have a beautiful bar area with a TV, couches etc really lovely but no one sits in there in the evening because the bar is shut, and in the day everyone is sat around the pool. Bit of a shame to have such a wasted space that is so nice. - No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, didn’t have a cup of tea whole holiday. - No bottled water in room (didn’t bother me as just bought a big bottle each night from supermarket) - No iron in the room so we just wore creased clothes. - Sun loungers around the pool are really uncomfortable due to a metal bar that goes across them and dig into your back there isn’t a way around it. - Maid took one of our room key cards for some strange reason. Pros: - Staff are really lovely, the receptionist, bar lady, lifeguard (who gives you the towels everyday) all really nice friendly people who can’t do enough for you. - Room is cleaned everyday. - Excellent location! A short stroll to cala major centre where you’ll find the beach and all the restaurants/super market. - Porto Pi shopping centre is a 10-15 minute walk and is AMAZING, they have Zara, Mango, Bershka, Stradivarius and more. - Palma town centre is very close just 10 mins on the number 4 bus 2 Euro per person each way. - Fresh towels everyday, we brought them to the beach too no issues. - I have to hand it to them the shower in the room is lovely. Hot water no problem. - Breakfast is lovely, I wasn’t expecting much but it was really good. If you are British don’t be expecting full English type food (which we didn’t anyway) but they have an amazing selection of cheeses, meats, breads, fruit, cookies pastries brownies even churros. They do have sausage and bacon but it’s like hot dog sausage. We really enjoyed our stay as we LOVE Cala major but per
Beautiful modern hotel above a convent! On a quiet street! Fabulous staff and a Michilan Star restaurant in the hotel! You never have to leave the hotel! A super comfy King size bed! Beautiful Bathful with excellent water pressure! What more could you want!!
Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Palma. The entire experience was absolutely wonderful. From check in to check out, it was a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Fresh linen, plush pillows, soft towels. The hotel was in a great location. Close to shops, dining and the waterfront. Quick walk to the Cathedral and main streets. Wish we stayed longer. Would recommend to anyone staying in Palma.
EExplorer10247312285Loved this gorgeous hotel close to the Cathedral. Our room was comfortable and stylish (street side so could hear visitors to the cathedral and horse drawn carriages going by but this did not bother us). There is a nice internal courtyard where breakfast is served. The staff are kind and attentive, particularly Mari Carmen on reception and the lady serving breakfast. Location is perfect and the outlook extremely attractive. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Palma.
Overall, it was an okay stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Any questions we had, they were always there to help. As far as location, this hotel is basically in Little Germany. Every single store, restaurant, and bar was in German and/or catered to Germans. If you’re looking for a local flare or spot, you will not find it here. The resort is beachfront but Playa de Arenal is SUPER crowded. When we booked our stay, we selected sea view. However, when we arrived, our room was on floor 1 and our “sea view” was blocked by the pool and cabanas. We should have had a room on the higher floors. My room had ants, which stayed in a small corner of the room. Room itself was clean, bathroom shower could have been scrubbed a bit more, and bedding was somewhat comfortable. Room also seemed outdated and could have used a refresh. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet that was included but always ventured out to explore the island during the day and evening, so dinner was never on property. The hotel is 15 min from the airport, which is nice plus as well. For my next Mallorca adventure, I’ll be staying somewhere else that has more of the local vibe and flare.
Stayed here for 4 nights on a girls trip early July. Location is fab - 20 minutes and you’re in the old town of Palma. Hotel is clean, quiet and the view over the marina is fabulous. The rooms in the part of the hotel that has been refurbished recently are much better. Staff are on the whole very friendly except Jose on reception who acted as if the most minor request (eg a taxi to town) is a massive inconvenience. The breakfast was exceptional - mini pastries - different varieties every day - were a real treat. The pool is beautiful - just very small with only around 12 sun loungers. It’s completely in the shade in the late afternoon too. Overall I would return!
Very happy with our 1 night stay - good location, good value and lovely reception staff. No frills but perfectly acceptable for the price we paid. Rooms worked well with 3 of us as the room for our daughter was adjacent with a door, perfect. Thank you
ゲゲストJust returned from a five night stay in Alua Leo. We arrived at about 10pm. A cold salad type meal was waiting for us in the dining room as we had missed our main meal. This was appreciated. Reception staff were always helpful and courteous. We travelled with EasyJet Holidays and their system allowed us to choose a room upgrade. We were in room 150. The room was very clean (all parts of the hotel were very clean) and was an adequate size. Storage was limited. We had a huge terrace which had two sun beds, parasol and two ordinary chairs plus a small table. This was a great asset to the room. Beds were super comfy! There was a coffee machine but I’d suggest you bring your own coffee pods etc. Kettles can be hired from reception. As others have said, the room safe cost 3 euro a day. I thought this was a bit steep! There was a small fridge. We opted for half board. Food was very good. Dining room staff worked efficiently to clear tables etc. They were all cheerful and helpful. Pool area was well maintained. Plenty of Sun loungers and parasols - certainly for May time. The water in the pool was VERY COLD! Life guard on duty from 10AM. Pool towels can be hired for 10 euro deposit. At the time of our stay (20th-25th May) there were no daytime activities on offer. I’m not sure if this is a hotel that offers kids activities in the high season. There is not a gym. Location is excellent. Just about 10 mins from the airport. 2 mins to the sea. Long prom. Very safe for walking, jogging or cycling. A number 25 bus takes you into Palma in about 15 minutes. This can be caught across the road from the hotel. Beautiful sandy beach. Check out is at 12 noon and luggage can be stored. We had a lovely, restful holiday and if we return to Palma we would not hesitate to stay at Alua Leo again.
