My family (2 adults & 2 teens) had the opportunity to spend 1 evening at the Hotel Scarlett, which is in the 20th Arrondissement, before traveling back home. The hotel is super cute and was located in walking distance to restaurants, transportation, and grocery markets. The staff was super friendly during our stay. We were assigned to room 602 which is on the main floor. It is a large room across from the breakfast area and has it's own little courtyard before entering the actual room. The room has a queen bed, pull out couch, sitting chair and a large TV and fairly large bathroom, it does not have a ”look out” window, but lots of natural light flows in via the courtyard and the bathroom does have a window in it too. (Unfortunately, for us, there wasn't an ample curtain/blinds to cover the window in the bathroom especially for showering at night. We remedied that by propping cardboard and towels over the window for privacy.) Overall, we would possibly stay here again, if only a night or two. We spent the majority of our stay in the 7th Arrondissement and liked that area better for seeing the Paris sites. Hotel Scarlett is right near a metro station, so if you're comfortable /knowledgeable using that, then staying at the hotel may be a more cost effective way to see the Paris sites, without having the expensive hotel costs in the city center.

Location! Location! Location! This hotel is a short walk from not just metro stations, but multiple bus stops, many restaurants, clothing stores, and grocery shops. During my sadly short stay in Paris I had the privilege of staying at Hotel Verlain and got to meet multiple kind staff members. Our room was facing the street with tall windows that opened up to a small little spot you can sit on the edge of and just watch the day go by. On our first day we noticed a leak from the bathroom sink, and after notifying the front desk they offered to move us rooms or that the plumber could be there the next day. We politely declined the offer to a new room as the new room faced the courtyard instead. The next morning the plumber was in while we were out eating, and it was fixed by the time we got back. For the remainder of our stay we had no further issues. From the comfy bed, to the spacious shower/deep tub combo it was the perfect place for our trip. Hotel Verlain will be at the top of my list when I get to go back to Paris!

There are two major issues here: 1. It is extremely expensive for a hostel. The highest price hostel I'd ever stayed in. I paid 48 euros the first night and 60 euros for the second night. For this sort of price you would at least expect a good night sleep. 2. If you came here to sleep, and it is is a weekend, you can forget about it. You will get booming bass until around 4am. Even earplugs don't work to drown on that noise. On weekends there is a discotheque in the rooftop bar. The rooftop bar belongs to the hostel so they don't even have the excuse that it is someone else's business. It shows that they prioritise making money from drinks over the sleep and comfort of the 200 people in the hostel. And speaking of the hostel, the rooms for 8 are pretty cramped, however at least the bunks are well designed, with curtains and electric sockets. Breakfast is not worth it. For 5 euros you get 2 supermarket croissants and a cup of filter coffee - not even a nice French espresso. For 10 euros you get some supermarket quiche and some bread with nutella (and still no decent coffee). You can however get an espresso or an allonge (americano) for 2 euros. On the positive side the rooftop terrace cafe is really nice during the day. You can visit it without staying here, which is what I'd advise. Regarding the noise level: you have been warned. You should be okay on a weeknight or a Sunday.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. レビューを読んでいると、このホテルがこれまで皆さんにどのような対応をしてきたのか信じられないほどです。なぜ低層階なのか、不衛生、接客態度も悪い、景色は鉄塔しかない…このホテルに着いてからは他の人とは全然違う！それは素晴らしいのでそれだけの価値があります!まず、フロントには男性がいて、少し中国語を話し、息子の名前を呼んで、兄弟と呼び、とてもフレンドリーでした。受付の女性も笑顔を絶やさなかった。彼らは私に5階を与えてくれました。以前のレビューでは誰もが低層階のみにあると言っていたので、信じがたいです。言うまでもなく、部屋はとてもきれいで、ソファベッドが敷かれています。バルコニーからの鉄塔の眺めは素晴らしいです！写真 1 は 17 時、写真 2 は 21 時、写真 3 は 22 時、写真 4 は 9 時です。それぞれの瞬間には独特の美しさがあります。エッフェル塔の眺めのためだけにこのホテルを予約しました。それからオリンピックビーチバレーのチケットを予約して会場まで歩いて行きました。砂の小隊も大興奮！このホテルの唯一の問題は、バルコニーのドアが開きすぎていて、カーテンが完全に開いておらず、ドアがカーテンを傷つけてしまうということです。失敗してカーテンレールからリングが落ちてしまいました。チェックアウトの際、フロントデスクにその旨を伝え、補償金を支払う必要があるかどうかを尋ねました。部屋に戻って一緒にチェックすると、彼女はもう一度マネージャーに尋ね、補償は必要ないと言い、無料の朝食をくれました。朝食がとても美味しいです！パンやおやつなど国産のウェイドゥメイとは全くコンセプトが違います！使っているパンはおそらく最高級バター！美味しい。このホテルがとても気に入りました!

We had the best time in Paris and Sub Hotel was the perfect choice of hotel. We stayed in Room 12 which was a family room and it was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Staff where so friendly. When we checked in a lady was on reception and she gave us lots of tips of ways to get round on buses ect. The area the hotel is in is perfect. There are so many beautiful bakeries and shops in the vicinity. Such a quaint place. Transport is brilliant just a one min walk from the train station. If I come to paris again this would always be my chosen hotel and area to stay in. Thank you Sub Hotel and all the staff.

ホテルは私が言うことができる地域にあり、おそらく軽い商業エリアとオフィスエリアからホテルの一部である新しいアパートに置き換えられ、エリアは素晴らしかったが、それはそうではなかった何にでも本当に便利です。朝はタクシーが必要でしたが、ホテルは1つ予約しようとしましたが、エリアには誰も利用できず、1つを降ろす前に2キロほど歩きました。これはアパートホテルであり、ホテルで受け取るすべての伝統的なサービスを提供していませんが、これはかなり近いです。いくつかの座席と自動販売機を備えた小さなロビーといくつかのラウンジとゲームテーブルを備えた別のエリア。私の311号室には、キーやその他の小物やコートフックに最適な小さな棚が付いている便利なエントリーエリアがありました。バスルームは片側へ外れており、障害者の部屋だったので思うように私の部屋にシャワーカーテンが入っただけの大きなオープンシャワーがありました。シャワーは良いサイズでしたが、プレハブトレイだったシャワーの床は床にきちんと付いていて、かなりの動きがあったように感じませんでした。メインルームはパリに適した広さで、快適なベッド、便利な電源コンセント付きのデスク、毎日必要なアイテムが揃ったキッチンなど、短い3泊に必要なすべてを揃えました。短い滞在でしたが、フードプロセッサ、クロコダイルポット、クレープメーカーなどフロントで借りるにはもっと専門の家電が利用できました。全体的に部屋はモダンな現代的な感じが良く、十分なスペース以上でした。アパートホテルコンセプトの客室は、7日ごとにのみサービスが提供されています。私はこのホテルを選びました。レンタル車を集めるために必要な場所に近いので、フランスオープンが開いていると考えました。オプションが限られており、ホテルには駐車場がありますが、無料が多いので必要ありません。必要な2泊でホテルのすぐ外のストリートパーキング。ヨーロッパのアパートメントのアダジオチェーンが本当に気に入り、これもまた素晴らしいものでした。

友人と1泊2日で泊まりました。パークへは徒歩で15分ほどで行けますし、シャトルバスもあったのでとても便利でした。ただフロントの方曰く、朝のシャトルバスは大変混むそうなので、もし混雑を避けたい場合は歩いていくことをお勧めします。 お部屋は中々広く、キッチンもあり快適でしたが、ボディソープの中身が空っぽで使えなかったのでそこが困りました。しかしそれ以外は特に不満な点もなく、快適に過ごすことができました！
