KKL1234Stayed here with my wife and son while visiting family and had a great experience. I was a bit hesitant at first since we usually stick with Marriott properties, but this place exceeded expectations and honestly felt better than many Marriott hotels we’ve stayed at.
The hotel feels brand new, very clean, and well maintained. The laundry room was a huge plus for us, especially traveling with a child. Breakfast was convenient and tasty, so we didn’t even need to leave the building in the mornings. There’s also a convenience store right around the corner which made things even easier.
What really stood out was the staff. The reception team was incredibly kind and helpful, especially when my son had an emotional moment. Despite the language barrier, check-in and check-out were smooth using an offline translation app.
Would definitely stay here again.

ゲゲストMy and my sister stayed there for two nights, the hotel had a great location on the owner was so kind to pick us up from the train station and to bring us back to the station at the end of our stay. He also carried our luggage.
The room was clean and pretty, the bathroom and the shower were together so it wasn't comfertable to take a shower, but we had warm water, the floor was also warm.
There wasn't a room service but we asked for more towels and slippers and they brought it to us.
The towels weren't comfertable and the pillows were so hard we decided to sleep without it.
But overall the stay was very good, the owner was amazing and a great location (10 minutes walk from baili gorge).
Recommend not going on winter because it was too freezing and the view is not as great.

万里の長城のセクションをたどって、北京から五台山へのロードトリップの一環として、真冬にここに一泊しました。暗くなった後、私たちは大きな笑顔で迎えられ、長いドライブの後、安らかに眠りました。
朝、私は早く起きて、中庭の庭に場所を見つけ、クリスマスカードを開けました。飼い主の犬はすぐに転がってペットになじまれ、次の1時間、私は良い仲間になり、お茶を飲み、平和を楽しみました.
オーナーは目を覚まして外で私を見つけました。おそらく私は******だと思っていたので、すぐに庭で火をつけた。彼らは私がお茶を飲んでいるのを見たので、鉄のやかんが炎の熱で沸騰しました。私の仲間はこれに目を覚まし、火のそばで私と上司に加わりました。外の温度はマイナスでしたが、私たちは暖かく、幸せで、白石山を探索する前日の準備ができていました。上司はまた、彼の素晴らしいお茶コレクションを見せてくれました。

衞生：酒店衞生乾淨整潔，沒有異味
服務：前台幾位服務人員服務態度很好，有什麼需要都很快給辦，小姐姐們人都很好，非常熱情，服務很棒。
酒店很貼心，領到了晚安糖水（大堂自取），還有歡迎水果也及時送到了房間。
服務非常滿意，房間有冰箱洗衣機，體驗感好！

ゲゲストThe hotel allowed check-in time very late at night (I checked in at about 11:30 pm) and the concierge still functioned well at such a late hour. The bed was really big for a single person. The hotel emphasized that a visitor will be enjoying French life-style in its stay there though there is neither a French word nor French TV program to be found inside the hotel room. I was expunged from the swimming pool on the 4/F solely because I forgot to bring my swimming cap (I had my swimming suit on), and had to cut short my swimming time after my failure to borrow a cap from the staff there. Moreover, the pool water was too cold. The breakfast buffet was good and contained a variety of foodstuffs and drinks of Chinese preferences and origins. However, there was a lack of exotic foodstuffs, e.g. Japanese style, Vietnamese style, European style, etc.
The flash-type French dance, about 15 min. in duration, in the hotel foyer at 6:00 p.m. was extraordinary, attractive and delighting.

QQueenNatWooWe had a great time at the Holiday Inn Baoding. We arrived late in the evening. You know it’s a great trip when you have so much fun you forget to take photos. Checkin was a smooth process, there was a market store were you can get gifts, Lana is, drinks. Toiletries and etc. We received a free car wash that we used when we checked-out. It’s located on the property. The hot springs is located in another building that was a quick walk. This place is adult and kid friendly. Although you are in the middle of nowhere the city is just a quick drive. We did a little shopping at the shoe store. The room was comfortable and spacious. It’s great for families, our 13yr old son loved it.

GGlenysMThe Modern Crystal Hotel in Baoding is only a 2 minute walk to & from Baoding Railway Station and there are lots of small shops and places to eat, as well as a shopping mall nearby which includes an Apple store!
The hotel is quite old and some parts of the rooms I saw were badly in need of refurbishing, but the customer service is excellent. Every staff member I dealt with during my 3 night stay was wonderful …. the Reception staff, and the lovely ladies who clean the rooms and work in the dining room were all consistently and naturally extremely helpful and friendly to me ☺️
The Reception staff ask if you use WeChat, which is great, because you can message them if you need to ask anything and they respond immediately. One of the young guys on Reception went out of his way to help me when the sole of my shoe came away from my shoe, by trying to find a shoe repair shop (there wasn’t one) and then finding & ordering shoe repair glue on Amazon China for me and delivering it to me in my room an hour later! That kind of service is really heartwarming to a foreign traveller 💜
There is a hotel laundry available for guests to use, which was great! BYO laundry detergent.
The only real issue - and it’s a major issue - was that smoking is allowed (and encouraged) in the hotel, which, as an Australian, I find shocking and quite unacceptable in this day & age of global “no smoking” health laws.
The first room I was allocated smelt so badly of cigarette smoke, I couldn’t stay in it and requested a clean smelling room. The Reception staff complied immediately, and the 2nd room was much better, although it also had a very faint cigarette smell which was not ideal because it spoils the enjoyment of the room, and a No Smoking room should not smell of cigarette smoke at all, but I assume that every room was probably the same. Even the lifts & foyers on each floor smelt badly of cigarette smoke, and it wasn’t nice to see ashtrays everywhere.
I have found the same problem in other hotels in China on this visit, more than ever before, and it’s really not pleasant for those of us who hate the smell of cigarette smoke and also get headaches from the horrible smell. It’s a shame, because no matter how excellent the customer service is, the cigarette smoking would prevent me from booking there again, or recommending it to anyone. Pity 😟
