ゲゲストA truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan
I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands.
I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of.
During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service.
But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing.
This was not a tourist activity.
It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries.
My conclusion:
This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

AAL94This is a nice place to put up for a night or 2 or even longer. The location is ok but the flight of stairs up to the reception and the room is not too fun if you have big and heavy luggage. Apart from this everything is lovely. Room is clean and the beds are comfortable. I love that the room is very bright. The toilet is fully automated. Shower water pressure is good too.
We had noodles for lunch there and they are yum!
Breakfast is simple but delicious. I think you can ask for seconds (we did not as we were rushing to go out).
There is a convenience store just right opposite and along the way, plenty of eateries.
Call them and they will pick you up from Julong hotel and drop you off there too when you check out.
I don’t mind staying here again but only if I have a small bag.

ゲゲストGreat location, near the cable car station and easy access to the old street and other temples nearby. The owner family and staff were right on the spot to solve any queries you may have including our special request to book private transport direct to the Jiuhuashan town up in the mountain site. Breakfast was nice and we liked the special Zen design of the hotel and thoughtful cultural elements that were weaved in. There is a lovely tea and sutra writing room which became a restful spot of our stay there. My spouse and I look forward to staying there again when we plan our future trip to Jiuhuashan. We didn't encounter any cigarette smell as we requested a non-smoking room and the overall Zen environment enhanced our cherished Buddhist pilgrimage trip.

服務：店家用車幫我們搬運行李，以香茶鮮果相迎，用精美禮品相送！幫忙規劃最佳遊覽路線，省時省力。衷心感謝店家！
環境：位置便利，吃飯，購物，坐園區內擺渡車，來回園區外擺渡車，都很近，自駕車可以停院內。
特別要提的是：背包忘在庭院裏忘了帶回酒店，被臨店老闆發現送到我的住處，經過一整晚又回到了我們手裡，謝謝好心人！

The place is ideally situated near the tourist center when all buses departed for mt jiuhua and back to Chizhou or to the new jiuhua speed train station. So many I mean huge selection of restaurants,supermarkets around. Amenities are plentiful in the niicely decorated room mixing wood and glassware but surprisingly there is no breakfast available. Also the sound isolation is not top and I can hear my neighbours in early morning,not help by the gap at the bottom at the door entrance,
It could be easily a perfect 10 but nothing is ! Totally recommend the place.. from the tourist center, walk 10 min to the new commercial with a huge stone flower as an indicator, walk inside and 1st right in a small ally..the hotel in at your right 100m further

This hotel is located at a very centralised area with 5mins walk away from 大愿文化園！

CClau HernandezPerfect place! As foreingers is quite Hard to travel in china due to the language....but in this amazing place there is no need to speak chinise. People is so friendly and kind. Our room was so clean, with everything we needed. The breakfast is super good. They took us to the bus station to the jihua mountain. They also took us to a very nice place for dinner, this was our fist time in this town , so we request for a recommendation on where to have dinner , and this was the Best meal on our 2 weeks china trip. They were so friendly , we hope to come back here and definately recommending the hotel to everyone
