Impromptu stop at this charming motel, tranquil location, very clean and comfortable with some bonus extras like a kitchenette with everything you need, nice grounds and a pool. Room had a private outdoor seating area which was lovely in the evening for dinner. Some issues acknowledged by the man on reception that concerned the WiFi but for a passing through one night stay we weren’t too concerned but wifi did work if a little slow. But on the whole a charming motel that was good value, would stay again if in the area.

For a three star motel it’s great. The renovations have been done well. Painted white inside it’s bright and welcoming. Very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. And very quiet. Unfortunately the tv reception is dreadful, probably something to do with the area. A good value motel.

This was a great little spot to stop over in Pemberton but would be ideal for a longer stay. The facilities available are great and it is right opposite the forest & some great family friendly things to see & do within walking distance to the hotel. Staff were really hospitable & helpful even though we booked only a couple of hours before arriving. Room was spacious & comfortable and bonus points for having a face washer/flannel, 2 pillows each and comfy robes.

Mixed feelings about this place. When booking, called a few times and spoke to a very friendly accommodating man. When we arrived to check in at 2.15pm however (15 mins after check-in time), the reception was locked, no one was answering the phone and we wandered around for about 20 minutes trying to find someone who worked there. No apologies or warm welcome when we got checked in. When we finally got into the family room, it was nice enough. A bit old and the bathroom could use a refresh, but everything worked as it should. My biggest grievance was that there was a skylight in the bedroom!!! Not very condusive for a toddler's day sleep, or for trying to sleep past dawn. The pool was very clean, despite being quite dated. The "playground" had nails sticking out of the floorboards which was a bit stressful, an accident waiting to happen! The breakfast was a highlight. $10 for a continental breakfast is great value and the dining room is just beautiful - gorgeous garden views out of all the windows and would be very cosy in winter with a log fire going.

My work friends and I got together for dinner at the new Japanese restaurant at the motel. It was fantastic. The service and setting were beautiful. The food was drinks 10/10. We forgot to take photos as we were too busy enjoying the delicious food. Thanks for a lovely evening.

I booked five suites for numerous people. Reception were very friendly and helpful on the phone. The motel had a great homely feeling that we liked, especially the verandah that linked the rooms. The rooms had mostly all of the amenities that we needed and comfortable beds. It is located in the middle of Pemberton town which is handy. It was value for money (approx $148 per room for 2 or 3). It was quiet. Some guests said they felt a bit cold and one room had less blankets than the others so they turned the air con on for heat. Breakfast wasn't on offer the morning we were there as they said they didn't have the staff. It was a Sunday morning of a long weekend. A few days before our trip we were told they had a new Japanese restaurant on site but we didn't know and had already booked another restaurant in town. One of the bedrooms had a skylight (and no way to cover it) and the sun came in very early which they didn't like. We liked this motel and would return.
