The reserve is right on the river with great views. We enjoyed nicely equiped tents and had a great cruise on the river spotting hyppos, girafes, bulls and various birds just for sunset. Next morning, on safari, we came suite close to the rhinos, good moments ! It was worth it !

Absolutely amazing place to stay, very clean, peaceful and right in the heart of nature. Loved every moment and everyday here. The neighbors were far enough for us not to hear them. Each unit had everything we needed plus more, hot tub and braai area. I would recommend this place every day of the week

From the location of the camp, to the boat-cruises and game drives and the bushveld on your doorstep (tent-step) this place is truly special. The hot-tub is a huge plus and loads of fun - even in winter. The sounds at night are invigorating at the same time that they are music to fall asleep by. Cannot fault this experience. Will definitely be back.

Absolute excellent camping experience the tents is designed like home and the hot tub was fabulous, food were well planned and presented, the guide on the river or lake tour were also the best and showed and learned us some things we did not know.

This Africamps, is exactly the same as all the others, but a 2nd fridge on the deck was greatly appreciated as the standard bar fridge in the unit in all Africamps units, is hopeless inadequate for a family of 4, staying 3 days or more. Great views of the dam and stunning wildlife setting with game roaming through the camp. The shop has no food to buy, unlike some other Africamps, besides a few chips and snacks. This Africamps is so far from a town that if you run out of food, going to a shop is out of the question. Only activities are fishing and game drives, all at additional costs as you may not do these by yourself . No place to exercise except a walk around campsite of just over 1km.

We stayed two nights in the camp as part of a long road trip in South Africa. It was definitely a memorable experience. The Manager and the staff are extremely friendly and the place is sparkling clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, the views and the restaurant nearby. We will definitely return and highly recommend the place. The only down side I would say, is that you can't self drive in the reserve. We took a tour, but it wasn't the highlight of our entire trip... but well, it is also a question of taste and we did so many different natural parks and game reserves.

Peace and quiet in your own private luxury tent. Nicely equipped, fridge small but we coped fine. Beds were very comfy with nice linen. Games drives can be done on own or with guide and there was lots to see closer by. Highly recommend the elephant excursion. Loved the monkey boiler jacuzzi, that was a lekker experience. Chilled place, you can unwind and soothe your soul.

The location is outstanding and is situated directly opposite the Jozini Dam. The activities are also mind blowing and are paradise for bird lovers and fishermen. The staff is very friendly and informative .Africamp is worth a visit for Bush for lovers and adventure seekers.

We very much enjoyed our stay with Africamps White Elephant. The safari tents are clean and well equipped. Our tent had a beautiful view towards the lake. Animals gathered at the water hole closeby. Perfect spot for families with kids!
