ホテル ランコーラ(Hotel L'Ancora)

Good location. Need to give key to hotel if u have own car. They will park ur car by themselves. Need to pay parking when checkout. The view is superb! Breakfast is nice

rooms were nice and big! very clean hotel, conveniently next to the road, and also close to the beach/restaurants! stellar views! if you are looking for a place to stay in positano then this is the one!

Wonderful place, the staff bent over backwards for us, the restaurant was excellent and the included buffet breakfast was awesome! The room was awesome with a incredible view, very clean, and a jacuzzi tub in the room albeit a little small, we would go back there in a heartbeat, everyone in Positano was so nice and would love to go back again someday!

We spent 3 nights here for our honeymoon. Great location with a great view of Positano and the gulf. The staff was accommodating to all of our needs during our stay. Bedrooms were keep clean- great job by the housekeepers. Continental breakfast was a nice touch with another great view that the bite has to offer. Once we were able to understand the geographical layout of Positano it was easy to get around. There claims to be an affiliation with Covo Dei Saraceni, which does not seem to be the case. The gentleman at the front was extremely rude when we asked to tour the hotel and see the pool area.

The restaurant of the hotel has the rudest staff ever! The cashier at the restaurant literally raised his voice on me just because I informed the next customer we’ll be leaving soon! The cashier came to my table and literally shouted “next time you dont tell the customer you’re leaving, i work here not you!” Horrible experience would never ever try the restaurant agin neither the hotel!

Hotel was beautiful! We upgraded to a superior room for minimal charge and it was worth every penny! Breakfast, ckeck in , housekeeping and restaurant staff very helpful and attentive! The drop off for luggage was key, as u didn’t have to walk up or down any steps, and if you know anything about the Amalfi coast there are lots of steps!

Even before we arrived, Hotel L’Ancora was very helpful in making dinner and other activity reservations for us. Once we got there we were so pleased with everything. The hotel is well located for restaurants and access to nice shops. The view from breakfast is beautiful and the breakfast included had everything we needed from hot eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes to cold yogurt, fruit, granola to smoked salmon with arugula, grape tomatoes, capers and olives, and also basics such as cereal, milk, toast, juice and water. Daily cappuccino was delicious! Evening cocktails with a view were equally beautiful. Our room was spacious with nice seating on the patio outdoor. In particular, all the staff was incredibly helpful and made us feel like we were arriving back home each night. In particular, Elisabetta helped us navigate everything we wanted to do each day and was especially helpful with information on options when we had to change our path of the gods hiking day due to the weather. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Positano!

Great view, large rooms but out dated !! It very close to the mark n ***** , close to all the restaurants, beach , bars , views . Breakfast is quite humble so don’t keep your hopes high . They have Great terrace for sunset views . Such a great spot and will definitely recommend

L’ancora was very lovely. Great suite and views. I would 100% stay here again if I were to come back to Positano. The breakfast buffet was also everything you could ask for. It was also in a great location and not too high up the hills.
