Cappuccini Resort

I usually spend a lot of time looking at reviews and doing my research before booking accommodation, however this time I didn’t have the chance to do so as we had a mixup with our original booking at another place, and it was salone del mobile week and everything was fully booked. We arrive to this hotel, which is in a lovely area with beautiful surroundings. It is an old monastery and the interior is kind of made to fit the building, which is a plus. The rooms are fine, nothing special. And if this was the experience we would have simply said to ourselves we had an ok stay. Sadly that was not the case. Firstly the hotel has breakfast from 9-11. I have never in my life experienced a 4 star hotel where they don’t offer breakfast for people who have to go to work or start earlier than 9. The breakfast itself is a normal, typical Italian breakfast with cakes and coffee. Then the worst part of the experience, which actually made me feel bad for others who might come after me, not knowing what they are in for. And therefore I found it important to write this review. The prices for dinner and lunch at this place is absolutely disgusting. If this was a Michelin star restaurant, I would understand. But €40 euro for a simple Tuna salad, which by the way was awful. For dinner we had tiny plates of pasta, which was not very good, and the tiramisu is the worst I’ve ever had in my life. I live in Italy and I have to say most Italian restaurants and hotels are overall very good, and Italians take great pride in their hospitality industry. But this place is an absolute disgrace. The fact that they justify their insane prices and on top of that have a horrible attitude and zero sense of what actually descent customer service means makes it even worse. I shocked, and I will never make the mistake of not reading the reviews again. I sincerely hope the owners read this review and take it seriously, because you cannot treat your customers like this.

Such a beautiful hotel, it was an old monastery, they have kept the simplicity but the rooms are spacious, cosy and stylish. The staff were very helpful, Marco Pellizzari - general manager - was great at explaining all the food and wine, the food was almost Michelin star, especially the cod with chickpeas and franciacorta froth - you must try this. The spa looked great, but we didn't have time to indulge in this as it was a business trip. This place would be ideal for guests to stay in after a wedding. So close to the Bergamo airport and near to lots of vineyards and restaurants. I will definitely book to stay here again!

Ieri siamo stati un'intero pomeriggio nella SPA dei Cappuccini, un percorso rilassante e rigenerante tra piscina, sauna e bagno turco con uno splendido massaggio (personalmente, ho adorato la bravura e la simpatia di Stella, ma anche le altre operatrici sono altrettanto gentili e professionali). Dopo questo meraviglioso viaggio sensoriale, siamo stati accolti dall'ospitalità della signora Rosalba al ristorante del resort per una stupefacente cena in un ambiente davvero piacevole e accogliente. Grazie Rosalba per essere stata così attenta ad ogni particolare, affinché la nostra giornata fosse perfetta e speciale!

Ospiti di un amico che festeggiava il suo compleanno siamo giunti in questa magica, suggestiva e splendida location della Franciacorta. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti dalla meravigliosa Rosalba, gran padrona di casa che, subito, ci ha messo a nostro agio con una piccola degustazione di aperitivi ( top la lingua ) e delle bollicine. Successivamente ci siamo spostati in una saletta privata, una vera e propria chicca tutta per noi, dove ci è stata servita una cena spettacolare abbinata a vino (Zanella) e bollicine del territorio. TOP. Molto bravi i camerieri, professionali, attenti e disponibili, anche perché nel dopocena ci siamo intrattenuti per qualche ora nel chiostro, sempre onorando il territorio. L'hotel poi, l'ho trovato letteralmente fantastico; nelle camere nulla era lasciato al caso. Penso e spero che presto ci ritorneremo. Alla prossima.

Accoglienza pessima come se il personale non sapesse di lavorare ai Cappuccini probabilmente! Costo camera nettamente inadeguato; Location trascurata e non all altezza di una dimora storica. Sconsigliatissimo per soggiornarci

Un’esperienza che fa bene all’anima e che aiuta a ricaricare le energie. Immerso nella natura, un paradiso di pace e relax..camera molto bella, pulita e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il ristorante lo consiglio vivamente, piatti ricercati e servizio impeccabile. Un grazie speciale alla Sig.ra Rosalba per aver dato vita ad un posto così unico e magico e per la Sua accoglienza. Sicuramente da tornarci!

Ho scelto questo posto per la sua storia, è un vecchio convento dei frati Cappuccini ad uso oggi di hotel e ristorante. La signora Rosalba la proprietaria è gentilissima e si vede che ha cercato di mantenere con rispetto i luoghi e gli oggetti quasi intatti, questo è il fascino di questo posto. A volte forse potrebbe esserci un filo di comfort in più (ad es. poter avere lo specchio nelle stanze, una colazione a buffet) ma sono quasi piccolezze in un luogo incantevole. Il ristorante è molto buono e i servizi SPA molto ben eseguiti. Ci tornerò sicuramente, grazie!

Siamo stati due notti in questo posto che è da subito risultato meraviglioso dal punto di vista della location. Non bisogna aspettarsi il resort di lusso poiché è tutto volutamente lasciato all'epoca dell'ex convento. La nostra camera era molto modesta. Sul sito ho visto foto di altre camere di un livello più alto, però noi siamo una coppia che si adatta al posto in cui va, quindi abbiamo apprezzato di avere tutto "all'antica". L'unica cosa poco agibile è stato il lavandino in cui non riuscivi a lavarti il viso senza allagare 😂. Però noi l'abbiamo presa sul ridere e ci siamo adattati! Il ristorante top, abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene, piatti curati e cucinati bene. La cantina molto ricca, ottima! Personale preparato e cordiale! Abbiamo fatto anche il percorso benessere alla spa che si trova all'ingresso della strada che porta alla struttura. A dir poco fantastica! Io personalmente amo questo tipo di relax e ho trovato personale davvero preparato! La ragazza che ha fatto il massaggio e il trattamento a me ha delle mani super. In conclusione, ci siamo trovati bene... Esperienza che consigliamo per evadere anche se per poco dalla quotidiana frenesia! E.

Io e mio marito ci siamo regalati una mattina + pranzo all insegna del relax. Ho prenotato la spa in esclusiva + massaggio di coppia… La ragazza che gestisce gli ingressi in spa è stata meravigliosa, gentile, con un sorriso caloroso, attenta ma non invadente. Il massaggio di coppia è stato proprio come ci aspettavamo, rilassante al 100%. Abbiamo anche pranzato presso il ristorante San Francesco: che dire piatti ottimi, ricercati, ben presentati, cantina vini infinita, personale gentile che è anche rimasto solo per noi oltre l orario, senza farci sentire di troppo. Qualità/prezzo del servizio proporzionata a quello che abbiamo ricevuto. Eravamo stati qui anni fa e ci eravamo trovati bene, oggi solo una gran conferma.
