Aura Hotel

The best part of the hotel was the beautiful facade and the restaurant. The location is central with the best restaurants of Pondicherry just 5 mins away. The Rocky beach just 5 min away. The hotel staff was really welcoming, warm and helpful.

This location is near to all the main cafés in Pondicherry. We had a short stay here just for a night but fell in love with their hospitality. This is a new property, very neat and clean. Rock beach is at 10 min walking distance and can be easily reached.

Please DO NOT stay at this hotel. I stayed 3 nights and was alone. On the last night the front desk ***ager named VEL or QUOTEN (he gave different name the times I asked him) WAS DRUNK!!!! Last night In the middle of the night he started calling my room and then went upstairs and tried to enter my room. He couldn't even walk straight because he was so drunk. The fear I felt was unbelievable. How can this happen in a 5 star hotel? I called the hotel across the street for help. This hotel is a danger if you are traveling alone. I asked for the ***ager's number to report it and they gave me a fake number. DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL

We stayed at this hotel for a week .Just a few minutes away from White town but we had a superb experience in terms of cleanliness, hygiene,staff was very helpful,food at their in house restaurant was delicious, housekeeping facilities , professionalism with regard to dealing with customers.Special mention to Miss Vishalakshmi and Miss Parvathy who took care of us very well .Also Nitin who served us so ***y meals at May Kitchen was very good .The food, all meals especially the French cuisine which we ate once were.prepared well.All in all we had wonderful seven days and would definitely recommend to others to stay at Hotel Aura.

Wonderful staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and close to great shops and restaurateurs. Hotel ***ager was extremely helpful and intent on ensuring we had all we needed, whether giving us city directions, trying new Indian foods at breakfast, or assisting with Uber ride details. Would recommend this hotel!

After skimming through multiple hotels, we picked up 2 rooms at Aura for a long family stay. Property is in good location and the property is in well maintained, front office staff are polite and kind. Rooms are spacious and well lit...both artificial and natural lighthing. They went out of their way to ensure that our stay was a pleasant one.
