ホテル イタリア(Hotel Italia)

Breve sosta di un giorno, con amici ci siamo fermati una notte durante un giro in bicicletta, il personale molto cortese e gentile, ci ha dato un posto sicuro per le nostre biciclette. La colazione era abbondante, e abbastanza ben fornita, la struttura pulita, non eccezionale nel complesso. Il prezzo un po' sopra la norma, soprattutto per la singola. La cosa che ci ha disturbato é che una coppia arrivata all'ultimo momento abbia avuto una stanza ad un prezzo inferiore al nostro che avevamo prenotato giorni prima. Ci tornerei, ma ad un costo inferiore.

Per essere un hotel con vista ferrovia, non l'ho trovato particolarmente rumoroso. Di sicuro è un po' datato, ma l'accoglienza del personale e la gentilezza mostrata ripaga della vetustà della struttura. Camera un po' piccolina (eravamo in 5) e bagno senza finestra. Il centro di Ravenna è a 5 minuti a piedi e nei pressi della struttura ci sono alcuni buoni ristoranti. Colazione minimalista.

L'ho valutato 2 su 5 perché ritengo che 90€ a notte sia troppo per la qualità dei servizi offerti. Inizio con i positivi : vicino al centro (raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti) , area parcheggio auto gratuita, personale gentile e disponibile. Di contro : datato nell'arredamento, scarsa insonorizzazione tra camere e l'esterno, riscaldamento in camera rumoroso ( la notte l'ho dovuto spegnere ) , stanza con 3 letti e un solo cuscino in aggiunta, colazione "minimalista " . Ripeto, per 90€ mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio. Non lo consiglio

Hotel was located directly beside train station. The area was very intimidating and the hotel was clean but old.

L'hotel è in una posizione ideale per chi viaggia in treno, vicinissimo alla stazione e vicinissimo al centro storico. La camera era sufficientemente confortevole con un buon letto: una sola presa per ricaricare il telefonino. Il bagno piccolo, ma ok. La pulizia delle parti comuni lascia un po' a desiderare ed è sufficiente nella camera. Colazione ok. Dato il periodo con alta domanda e tutti gli hotel esauriti, il prezzo richiesto è stato troppo alto, ma non potevo farne a meno.

Enough electrical outlets to charge two iPhones at night. Good breakfast with scrambled egg choice on the buffet. Hallway carpets are worn. Location was good. There is a parking area on the hotel property with several spots and we were lucky to park in one of the last spots at 17:30. Our window overlooked the train station rail yard, which was not a problem for us, because it is better to hear romantic trains during the night than the random acceleration of automobiles on Viale Giorgio Pallavicini. No problem sleeping with the trains. The double bed was plenty large.

After arriving in Ravenna via train, we attempted to find a Taxi to get us to the cruise port. With no luck after almost an hour, we walked to the Hotel Italia where we where received by a very friendly gentleman manager who went out of his way to assist us. He personally took it upon himself to arrange a Taxi for us and within 2 minutes one arrived. What great service considering we were not guests of the hotel. Clearly service is still a value at Hotel Italia.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to suggest the best visiting routes for sights in Ravenna. Rooms are simple, but more than adequate. The proximity to the train station is a plus.
