パーク ホテル ヴィラ ポテンツィアーニ(Park Hotel Villa Potenziani)

Stayed 5 nights in a junior suite (Room 304) that faced the back gardens. My husband and I were in Rieti for work and our coworkers suggested this hotel. Finding the driveway the first time around took a couple attempts because it’s located a few feet from a busy intersection and can be a difficult turn depending on which direction you are coming from. The road up to the hotel is narrow, not well paved in certain parts and pretty steep. I’m glad I wasn’t in charge of driving because you have to squeeze by the other car when passing. Luckily we would only encounter 1 or 2 cars each time. I worked remotely from the hotel (strong wifi!) and walked to town a couple times. Walking down the hill isn’t bad, it took me about 16 minutes to get all the way down to the main street but walking up is rough and I don’t recommend unless you are in great shape. There aren’t any taxis in Rieti but you can ask the front desk for the number for a driver to arrange a ride to/from the hotel. The building is an old family villa turned into a hotel which adds to the charm. The hotel restaurant is generally only open for dinner and their food is very tasty - we ate there 3 times during our stay. Breakfast is pretty basic - pastries, cheese, cured meats, yogurt, bread, sweets and coffee/cappuccino. The hotel seemed only half or less full when we were there which meant we got great service from the front desk and restaurant staff. Our room was large with a double bed, a small desk with TV on top and a chair, a loveseat, dresser and closet with tiny mini fridge and safe. The bathroom was a decent size with a small shower but ample counter space. My only complaint about the room was that the pillows seemed old and very flat. Unfortunately during our stay the weather wasn’t great (it rained for a few hours almost every day) so the pool hadn’t opened up yet and there were a decent number of mosquitoes around (I got 4 bites and my husband got 1). Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and felt well taken care of by the staff at the Villa Potenziani and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was an historic property and very beautiful. The road up to the hotel was narrow and often you couldn’t see around the corners. The room was spacious but the bed very firm.

A very lovely dated property to be in. Lovely views from the room and the 3rd floor breakfast area. What an absolute gem of a place. The rooms are very well maintained. We were in the family room, it was big. We didn't get a chance to have dinner there, but the place was busy for dinner. An absolute delight to stay.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. The hotel manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. We had an argument around a sandwich ordered and cancelled at the pool (9e btw for a piece of bread). The manager ended up charging the sandwich to the bride and groom without telling it to me. After this, they lied to them saying that I had threw the sandwich at the waiter face and had told the hotel to charge the broom for it. This obviously never happened and I had a witness. When I called to confront them, the manager hanged up on me. Imagine how happy the married couple was to sort out this mess during their honeymoon ...

This is a beautiful villa in a country setting but close to town. Unfortunately I visited in May before the pool was open and the restaurant was open for regular hours. That said, the staff were wonderful and allowed me access to the restaurant during a private event.

This is a lovely place ! We stayed in the Presidential Suite for 6 nights and were really impressed by the beauty of the whole Villa and by the antique furniture ! The room was lovely, the breakfast buffet (covid safe) was great, the staff always very friendly and helpful, the dinner restaurant very good... And on top of that, the mountain views from the hotel are breathtaking !! We would love to go back !

Bellissima posizione elegante costruzione con magnifico giardino di rose. Ottimo il ristorante, cucina molto curata, e cosa non dapoxo, la sala ristorante è magnifica. Tutto il personale è professionale e gentilissimo. Non abbiamo usufruito della piscina poiché fuori stagione

Se questo è un 4 stelle S io sono Brad Pitt ! Il classico posto vorrei ma non posso ! Se arrivare e’ un inferno ( visto che i cartelli segnaletici sono sbiaditi, coperti dall’ erbacce e al buio ) i servizi ancora peggio. Tralascio il fatto che chiesto di riceve fattura di cortesia al mio indirizzo, non è stato fatto ( alla faccia del certamente “nessun problema”) , stenderei un velo pietoso sull’ addebito del No show a causa della mia partenza anticipata di un giorno , per gravi e documentabili motivi famigliari. Una “simpaticissima “ direttrice che evidentemente non ha alba di come ci si comporta con un cliente business, ha deciso che è meglio addebitarmi una notte piuttosto che rivedere me e i colleghi della mia azienda e delle aziende del nostro gruppo. Ad Maiora ! In conclusione non fatevi abbindolare da quel che vedete in foto sul loro sito, non è tutto oro quello che luccica c’è sicuramente di meglio spendendo meno
