Check-in, location (by lake), breakfast, the room, tips from Richard about what to do, Marta's hospitality... everything was very nice. Actually, it was all great. Highly recommended place to stay. If you take the train to Interlaken Ost you can either hop a train and get off at Ringgenberg and have a 5 minute walk, or go on the bus (102) and get off the Moosrain stop for a five minute walk.

We booked this coz it was close to Interlaken, it's a cute hotel with friendly staff, and has parking. There is limited power outlets, so we had to be creative in the way we charged stuff, but it was a nice place. No elevator, but hey it's an old and vintage hotel.

This hotel is truly one of the most beautiful places you can imagine, with breathtaking views all around. The rooms are spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. It’s a perfect getaway, offering all the beauty you could want while still being a comfortable distance from the hustle and bustle, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights early May. We had a rental car and had no problem finding parking anytime we’d come back to the hotel. It’s in a great location, out of the busy area of Interlaken but still close enough so places didn’t feel inaccessible. We stayed at 2 other hotels (in Switzerland) around the same price range and this was our favorite hotel. It was the only hotel to offer free breakfast out of the 3 hotels we stayed at in Switzerland and the breakfast was so good and was a good jumpstart to our day. We missed Alpina’s breakfast after we checked out because it was good (compared to the standard continental breakfast in the US hotels). Breakfast consists of eggs any way you want, fresh breads, jams, croissants, waffles, cheese, cold cuts, falafel, samosas, quiche or sausage, muesli with fresh apples and blueberries, cucumber/tomato salad, fruits, spreads, olives, rosti (potatoes). View as soon as you walk out of hotel is so pretty and breathtaking (on a day of good weather).

he hotel is located right on the Brienz lake front. Richard and his family have so much eye for detail in making the rooms cozy and comfortable for the guests. They have put in effort to give the best experience right from the breakfast to the teabags and articles in the room. The hotel is a large wooden chalet type building and gives an old worldly feel. It is located in a quiet and pretty neighbourhood We had a wonderful time in Interlaken and would definitely highly recommend the hotel as aa place to stay.

Todo fenomenal. El servicio estupendo y nos dieron varias recomendaciones interesantes. Está situado a las afueras de Interlaken, frente al lago. Las vistas son espectaculares, con el verde esmeralda del agua. El desayuno muy bueno y completo. Si hay que poner un pero, es que el baño es pequeño aunque la habitación es grande. Estilo 100% suizo de construcción de madera. Muy recomendable.
