Not sure what to start with but as a Hyatt Employee, I'm so glad that I don't work for this hotel and this company!
This is my first time staying at the Holiday Inn Express and it'll be the last time!!
When I got to the hotel on 3/2 to check in, I noticed 5-6 families on their phones complaining that their reservations got canceled without any notice and were told sorry that nothing could be done. I went ahead to check in and they can't find my reservation either. At this point, I'm very confused!!! The lady working the front desk didn't know what was going on and no Manager was able to assist her. She made a few phone calls to her Manager and no one was able to give her any guidance until one of the customers called the corporate office and they were able to find ways how to accommodate some families. It took us 2 hours to finally get the rooms we needed, and we were late to our daughter's game!
On the morning of 3/3, we got down at 6:45 am to grab a quick breakfast before we headed to the Volleyball tournament and got the surprising news that NO Breakfast was available. The excuse was that the Breakfast attendant didn't show up!!! I work in the F&B department at a hotel, and this is beyond unacceptable!!
Not sure what kind of Management you have at this property, but clearly no communication and no leadership.
I felt very bad for the lady working the afternoon shift on 3/2 but she was put in a very uncomfortable position with no Management to back her up.
