ナヴォーナ タワー ルレ(Navona Tower Relais)

This location is perfect for sightseeing in Rome, centrally located, allowing for easy access to many famous and historic points of interest within walking distance. The two bedroom room/apartment was great for our family of four. Plenty of dining and shopping located nearby, as well as nightlife. Price seems very reasonable for the location and accommodations provided. Some potential cons to consider: Hotel staff aren’t always on the premises and an appointment must be made for check-in. Location has some nightlife nearby, which could be a positive if your interested or not if you just want to get some rest. The stairwell to the rooms/apartments looks a little rough, but we found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice room, good for families. Downsides are it is far from bus and metro stops, and lots of stairs (no elevators). However, close to lots of restaurants and safe location. Can walk everywhere. Staff were super friendly and helpful, easy check in.

There’s no permanent reception so every is via the phone and checkin is via appointment. The apartment was comfortable and has everything you need. Bathroom had lots of mould high up on walls. The big problem was that noise from the street and surrounding bars at night. Especially Friday and Saturday. The windows are super thin and block almost no noise so you’ll have the pleasure of thumping music and no sleep until at least 2am. And then you have all the noise of people leaving bars / shouting / breaking glass for the next hour, followed by the glass bins being collected around 5am. It was so bad after 2 nights we decided to leave a day early and book another hotel. When we contacted the hotel to let them know they were very responsive and tried to help. They offered another room in the building or a room at another site and a taxi transfer at their expense. When we looked at reviews of the other site we decided against it as they were not good. When we asked about moving to another room in the building (as offered 30mins earlier) we were told it was miraculously not available. Stay here for the location and if you don’t mind sleeping in a nightclub.

Michelangelo room was great. Spacious with everything you needed and really quiet. Marco was an incredible host. Wanted to do everything he could to give us a wonderful stay. The location was fabulous right near piazza novona. So so happy with our choice. And stop by next door for a drink at iFratellini where Lorenzo runs a beautiful place.

Booked a two night stay but left after the first night because it was impossible to sleep with the noise. The restaurants/bars below us were blasting music until 2 am. The bed was so uncomfortable. They could easily buy a new comfortable bed with the amount I was charged for just one night.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Check in and staff were totally fine but the accommodations deserve 0/5. The bed is a 6” mattress with a top sheet on a pull out metal frame. When asked for another blanket we were given another top sheet. The shower is so so small you can barely turn around in it. Everytime the toilet flushes it rattles the room with how loud it was. Lastly and the absolute worst piece is this hotel is over a restaurant and late night bar. It shook the entire room there was zero sleep. We had this booked for two nights but left after the first night and ate the cost because it was truly so so horrible.

I have now stayed at this property 4x, in 3 different rooms and each has been great. I prefer the 2-bed suites if they are available, but the Michelangelo room is very large for a king room. I am not a fan of the bathroom in the Michelangelo room, but it is sufficient. This time around we spent 3 nights in the Michelangelo room and then we switched to the upper level 2-bedroom suite because we decided to extend our stay and that was what was avail. Then our flights home were delayed enough that we had to stay another night, so we were able to extended in the 2-bed suite and that was perfect. We were only two people traveling but the 2-bed suites have newer bathrooms and more room with the foyer area, kitchenette, & 2nd bedroom, which we did not really use, but having the space was nice. The family that runs this hotel is always accommodating and kind. They do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable and feel at home. It is not an "American" style hotel with room service and bellmen, etc, but the authentic feeling of staying in an old building in the center of Rome is what we prefer. I have seen some reviews mention the noise - we do not feel that it is a drawback because when you stay right off a popular piazza it will be busy - the windows do drown out the noise and we enjoyed the convenience. I suppose if you have lived in a quiet suburb or country area your whole life, this may be noisy, but we welcomed the "activity" and everything being walkable.

We stayed in a quadruple family room with lots of space. Clean, comfortable and excellent location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the stairs, we didn’t realize there was no elevator when we booked but the staff helped us carry our bags.
