I was delayed a day getting in due to flight delays and they were very accommodating. Check in was easy. They texted the information. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Very well located near everything, which was perfect! Wish the air conditioning was a bit stronger. Check out was easy, they texted information. You’re pretty much on your own, which was fine for me, but if you’re looking to have someone help you with suggestions then no. I thought the pizza restaurant directly across the street delicious.

If you are planning a trip to Rome and are looking for a charming and welcoming place to stay, look no further than Relais Colonna. This lovely hotel is run by the ultimate host, Gianluca, who truly goes above and beyond to make his guests feel at home. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Gianluca took the time to sit down with us and provide us with great recommendations for things to see. He was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms at Relais Colonna are tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could want for a pleasant stay. But perhaps the best thing about Relais Colonna is its location. It is ideally situated in the heart of Rome, with easy access to all ofthe city's major attractions. The Relais Colonna is a lovely place to stay that is highly recommended for travelers who want to explore Rome's historic center and enjoy all the city has to offer. The owner, Gianluca, is a superstar who goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well taken care of. We will definetely come back!

Just back from a 3 night stay in Rome. We arrived at 11am on Saturday. It was a little difficult to find, however, once we got inside, we were perfectly happy. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Breakfast was a voucher for coffee and croissants across the road in the French Bistro. This was great. The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing. It really is central. On foot we were able to get ourselves to the Colosseum, the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, and much much more. When you are worn out, the spa bath was a real treat, bed was comfortable and even with the window open, we had a quiet peaceful nights sleep. Communication with the hotel was quick and any questions answered swiftly. I would highly recommend staying here for any Rome visit.

No hot water. No attendant to assist. Bad lighting for makeup. Offered a shuttle service from airport but never showed. Did I mention NO HOT WATER for 2 days.

Honestly very disappointed in the stay. Check in was a nigh**are. There is a hotel with the same name across the street. We went there then they sent us to the right place where it took forever to get buzzed in and then we had to figure out which floor the hotel was on. The floor hallway had no power at check in. We got buzzed in and we’re told just to leave our bags at the front desk and the security camera would “watch them”. The Wi-Fi would cut out so much I couldn’t use my laptop. We stayed in the “jacuzzi room” thinking it was an extra. It was a tub instead of the shower. For what we got 295 euro a night is absolute robbery. If you’re used to any type of American hotels go elsewhere. Also at check out no one was available so we had to pay via PayPal. Very sketchy.

It was in a very convenient location and the check-in process was very easy. We stayed for a night and the host recommended us a great trattoria for dinner. The faucet was a little drippy at night but we were so tired we were able to sleep though it.

The Hotel is very well located, close to the best attractions in Rome. The hotel is super clean, quiet and cosy. Super polite and helpful staff. Delicious b'fast served at Salvatore di Matteo restaurant just opposite of the Hotel. Great stay. Grazie Gianluca!

100% recommended, excelent service, cleaning, Location and a quality-price ratio you woudn’t believe!!! I hope I am able to return to Rome, and if I do there is no doubt I will stay in Relais Colonna

Interesting hotel room in a good, quiet location with lots of restaurants around. Check-in was not easy, we had some difficulty finding the hotel, and ended up standing out in the rain waiting for some to let us in. Although the listing says the front desk is manned during the day, we never saw anyone the whole time we were there. Everything we needed required a phone call to Gianluca, who was accomodating. The bath was in need of maintenance, with the sink backed up and the toilet running the whole time. All that said, the nightly rate was low for Rome, so if you want to be in Prati and are on a budget, this is a good option.
