Our second stay, and already improvements under the new owners. Enthusiastic and helpful manager: if it matters, he and other staff speak English. Comfortable room and bed. Design is certainly not modern, but all clean and the place has been recently freshened up. Set dinner menu (3-4 choices for each course) 21: excellent starters, dessert and cheese plate. Mains fine although clearly batch-cooked. Reasonably priced drinks (a dozen or so wines 14-20, Leffe on tap). Can't be beaten for price, location, and convenience of bar/restaurant on site. Note that as most of the guests are single travellers on business, the restaurant is only open Monday to Thursday evenings.

Very pleasant stay, the restrauant was very good both for dinner and breakfast. We stayed 2 nights came in tired greeted in a welcoming manner. 5he rooms are outdated but comfortable...we only go there to sleep but I have to say dinner was what made it so good. Staff is friendly and tried to be helpful(we didn't speak French) owner/manager took time to help us. I'd recommend it.

Nobody at reception when we arrived a 4pm, then had to ask for towels and they tried to charge extra for our 2 small dogs which should be free as stated when bookinh. Nothing around hotel as it is on an industrial estate had to drive to find a shop and restaurant, then at 1.30am when asleep someone tried to enter the room with a key, very frightening we had to shout to scare them off, no sleep was had after this and nobody around in morning to complain to. I would not recommend this hotel.

We wanted to stay to the west of Poitiers and this hotel was just right. A minor problem with the WiFI was quickly sorted.

Do not let the 2 star only scare you away. This is an exellent hotel when you are travelling to somewhere else in Europe or even use it as a base where you take your trips from in the erea. The rooms are small but the beds are super comfertable. The Breakfast is more than ok and the host are friendly as well and they can even give you some tips about things to see in the neighbourhood. You brought your dog with you? Well your best friend on 4 paws is welcome too

We have stayed at this hotel on four occasions. It has always been good and an evening meal available. Arrived today, no evening meal available and no apologies from the staff. Will certainly not stay here again

There was no air con, but a fan did help, but it was very noisy. The hotel not in the most scenic area being on an ind estate, but we were only staying overnight and didn’t want to be in Poitiers itself. Found an excellent brasserie, recommended by the staff. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Overall, good enough for our needs.

Everything is good

Belle décoration. Personnes à l'accueil très sympa. Chambre humide. Des moisissures partout sur le plafond de la salle de bain. Rideau de douche dégueulasse encrassé et moisit. Il faisait froid dans la chambre. Dommage car d'apparence l'hôtel est sympa mais la tenue des salles de bain laisse vraiment à désirer cela dégoûte.
