Os cuento mi experiencia de un robo: Le regalé a mi novio un fin de semana en el hotel BEST SABINAL de roquetas de mar. Ayer por la noche me dejé mi PULSERA DE PANDORA en la jabonera de la bañera, ya que siempre al ducharme me la quito para que no se ponga negra. Hoy nos hemos ido a Almeria capital a pasar el día allí y cuando hemos llegado estaba la habitación recogida y eso, y mi PULSERA no estaba en donde la dejé. Hemos buscado por todos los rincones de la habitación, que por cierto, la limpieza era bastante regular. Nos hemos ido a recepción para ver quien ha entrado a la habitación y eso, soluciones 0. Me parece lamentable que en un hotel considerado bastante bueno y de 4 estrellas, tengan un personal de limpieza que sean ladrones.

Very clean hotel and reception staff very helpful. We had large room at back of hotel which meant the room didn’t get too hot, late evening sun on balcony was nice. The beds were comfortable and the shower hot. We had half board thank goodness as the food was not up to usual standard of other hotels we have booked through Tui. One huge surprise was that only bottled water available for the evening meal which cost an extra 2.40 euros per bottle. There was no free tap water available however in the mornings the machine was switched on for breakfast so water was available. Food was not hot enough and the organisation in the dining room was haphazard. Did not appear to have anyone in charge. At breakfast by the cereal counter, plates were stored instead of bowls. Lots of people walking around trying to find things. The evening entertainment started at 10.30pm which was very late for us. No separate quiet room for reading or playing cards, could not see anything else to do. Tv had very limited channels mainly news. We went out most evenings for drinks and took bus to Almeria one day which was 2 euros each way. About 50 mins very easy as bus stop close to hotel. Good walks along the prom both ways.

Very nice beach front hotel. Good food but a noisy restaurant. Good size room very clean everywhere. Friendly staff. Beach very gritty no good for children but nice pool with kids facilities. Nice promenade for walking and cycling. Not much of interest in the town and the countryside is grim full of polytunnels no good for walking. Excellent for a week to 10 days stay Robert Cambridge

Great hotel. Employees are very professional. Great foods at the restaurant . This hotel located at beach front and the price I paid was unbelievably reasonable. One thing I would say is that our room is little outdated. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything in the hotel was very clean and the pool area was kept very well too. There was no mad rush for the pool area to put towels down, as there are plenty of beds to go around! The food was atrocious. Everything was cold, even ‘fresh’ chips that were coming out from the kitchen. The cheese doesn’t even melt on the pizza, even after being put in the microwave for 90seconds (and this was just to warm the pizza!!) Pudding one night was a chocolate fountain but the profiteroles were frozen and the ones that weren’t, were mush!! Overall I’d rate the food 3/10! TV channels for English - there are 5 channels, 4 of which are news! No variety at all! Finally, the entertainment was very lacklustre, very little for English guests! If you do go, I would recommend you go for the lowest board and eat at the local restaurants in the area, as we did in the end, which cost us more money!

Arrived last Thursday for a week long stay and I'll definitely be returning. Upon arrival the reception staff spoke English well to be able to assist with check in and explaining the all inclusive options etc and gave us a room on the 7th floor - we took a superior sea view room. The sea view rooms are incredible, you get sunrise every morning and have full sight of the moon every night, and of course, the sea. Cleanliness is phenomenal - the cleaners come daily and make up the beds and clean down the room, and they're so friendly. Cleanliness around the hotel is spotless too considering how big the hotel is, not once did I ever see it dirty within the week. The bartenders also do a great job of maintaining the outside tables by the pool. Separate smoking area outside from the bar which is nice to keep it fresh for everyone. The bar itself is well stocked, bartenders are amazing and they make a good drink every single time. Bar also has snacks available if you want to eat outside of the restaurant hours. Restaurant itself has incredible food - centrepiece options vary from day to day but the food made daily is incredible, no issues at all and everything cooked to perfection. Waiters inside are quick off the mark with drink orders and bring it before you even sit down which is amazing. The pool is great, mixed between adults and kids but have a ramp going into it so the shallow end you can genuinely sit down comfortably to where you'd like the water to reach, and its maintained very well. Spa is good, you pay €6 for 2 hours per adult and 2 hours is probably all you need within it - has a jacuzzi, whirlpool, sauna (about 60°) steam room and heated pool. Does get busy in the afternoon so recommend doing the morning instead. Evening entertainment is good, varies from day to day and on Fridays/saturdays/Sundays its hosted outside on the stage rather than the indoor bar area but makes for a nice change during the week too. Overall, simply amazing. I'd happily come back and we met other couples who'd been coming back for as long as 26years without fail - I now see why. Best Hotel Sabinal - thank you for such an amazing stay and brilliant time with your hospitality being 5* - will most certainly be back again (and again and again!)

Would like to thank all at best sabinal had a lovely two weeks room was not to our liking with autistic son but was guickly dealt with by all staff and enjoyed our room 288 with amazing views for the whole holiday food was always something different but better this year from previous years home now went from 24th Sept to 8th October will return in future as we like the whole area and hotel memories this year as son was swimming for first time seeing u soon best sabinal

We stayed at the Best Sabinal Hotel at the end of October to early November. Check in was very quick and easy, everything we needed to know was explained to us clearly. We checked in on the Saturday before Halloween and all the staff were dressed up for Halloween and they all looked fabulous! The hotel reception had lots of Halloween displays around, it looked really good. When we got to our room it was lovely and clean with the most wonderful view of the pool, promenade and sea, we had requested a higher floor if possible and the hotel were able to give us one, so that was great. The only down side I could say about the room is that there isn’t much hanging space in the wardrobe or much shelving for clothes, but as we were only staying a week we managed. There was a free safe in the wardrobe and the towels were changed when requested and the bedding was changed regularly. Meals in the restaurant were very good for dinner, although the first weekend was very busy for halloween, it wasn’t obvious where to queue for the buffet, more of a free for all, but it didn’t spoil it for us as the food was varied and plenty of choice. Breakfast on the whole was very good, lots of choice, I would say the toasters need replacing as there were long queues building as you needed to put your bread through 6 or 7 times to achieve toast. The bacon also wasn’t the best, we do expect Spanish bacon when we’re in Spain, but some days it looked like it had been boiled rather than cooked on the oven? Quite strange, but there were other things. At lunch time we used the snack bar, here the staff cooked you what you wanted, to order, so it was always fresh and hot, I would say, some sort of a menu would be a good idea here as we weren’t sure what was on offer? It looked like mainly toasties , pizza, burgers, hot dogs and fries, but there could’ve been other things. I did see sandwiches one day and later in the day there were cakes. The bar service was second to non, we didn’t ever have to wait long to be served and all the staff were so friendly. Also they were all in fancy dress for Halloween. The drinks were international brands that you don’t usually get with all inclusive and large measures. You could also ask for crisps and peanuts at the bar. The entertainment was geared more towards the Spanish, but we still enjoyed it. The pool area was very clean with plentiful sunbeds that you could get at any time of the day, so no reserving at silly o’clock, I only saw one family going this ( there’s always one!) There is a gate from the pool area that’s opens onto the promenade and beach area so that’s handy. Your wristband has a chip that acts as your room key and you also use this to open the gate to the promenade, this is a great idea, you can’t loose your key! You can walk on the promenade in both directions for miles, it’s lovely and clean and flat. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby also. Would we return? Most definitely.
