ATKV バッフェルスポーート(Atkv Buffelspoort)

The orst stay for me at a resort so far. There are many double standards, i.e. No place for people to enjoy the day and have theri smoke aditioction. the signage around the facolities state that smoking is not allowed neare than 50m, but the indoor poole has a smoking area 5m away from the building. only 1 little area that says smoking, but only maybe 5 people can satnd there, the people want to relax in there own environment. We got harassed by a guest due to my friends smoking, but we were right next to the braai area where people in that area were smoking, closer to where we were. The booking said 2 bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. We go 2 single beds in every room. very uncomfortable to sleep with my wife. The booking did not state that only 1 vehicle can park with the reservation. I had to pay an extra R75.00 per vehicle per day. My friends cam with 2 cars as they were arriving form their workplaces. I understand that there is only parking for 1 behicle and we had to leave that vehicle at the area by Reception, but why did we have to pay R75.00 for that vehicle? The staff were not the freindliest encountered. i will not stay there again and will also not recommend the place to anyone that enquires regarding the resort.

The stay was not good, the environment is not inclusive, the music, announcements, sign boards, is in Afrikaans.

I've been to Buffelspoort since I was a little girl and my experience was always excellent! This past weekend I visited the resort for a family weekend, we booked one of the older chalets for 8 people. The toilet was leaking, our bathroom was under water, we used the towels given to us to try and keep the floor dry seeing as there was no mop. We asked housekeeping to clean and for new towels, one bed was made the kitchen and both of our bathrooms were not cleaned! The other bathroom did not have a shower curtain and the floor was wet from the shower, we also used towels to keep floor dry and help not to slip, as my grandmother also used the shower. I love going to Buffelspoort and will always recommend to others. I would just like to bring this to their attention to get their older chalets up to standard.

Very well organised at the gate , when now arriving on weekends. Had a problem with Bungolow on arrival, but management resolved it promply. My big dissapointment was that the heated pool now only open at 07H00, instead off 06H00. The pool opened as long as I can remember (visiting since 1980) at 06H00. The crowed at the indoor pool is also swimming with tyres, tubes ect. Most of them is also now eating indoors. Not Acceptable. Stiil it is good value for your money. See soon again in Springtime.

The stay in the newly renovated rondavels was amazing. They were modern and comfortable. The entertainment facilities were very enjoyable

Visited the resort this December with family. To say it was the worst experience is an understatement. We camped in Block C, the stands themselves were very small and dirty (not swept or cleaned). The ablution facilities are a joke with leaking pipes, broken showers etc. The entertainment at the pool was also very poor. All in all Buffelspoort doesn't offer a traveler much and just doesn't justify the high tarrifs the ask.

Buffelspoort is a very nice resort, people are very friendly (especially guests towards each other) and the warm swimming pools are very nice. We had an issue with the room not being cleaned thoroughly (earbuds lying next to bed, etc) and even after we have reported that, nobody came to clean it as was promised. We lived in two different renovated rondawels. The first one, number 28, was fine, but the last one, number 18 was not good. The shower was full of mold and very filthy and the water did not run away. The Magalies Villas (number 22) was very good though and well cleaned. The restaurant was not open like always, but that would have been because of the Covid-19 restrictions.

Loved our stay at this Resort. Have been there a few times. My grandchildren loved chatting to Rudi the Lifeguard at the blue slide. Friendly staff. Awesome pools, outdoor gym, putt-putt and Chalet. Best of all a bag that was left behind was handed in with everything still inside and I was able to collect it through a courier service.
