Hôtel les Vignes de la Chapelle, "The Originals Relais"

Fantastic small friendly hotel. staff were excellent, welcoming and always helpful .Bike hire available at a good price .breakfast fantastic with local produce .bar service available all day and light snacks and light meals also available. Small pool great for children and cooling off .close to a beach with rock pools .hotel surrounded by vineyards with glimpses of the Atlantic near by . short walk to a lovely town. Free bus service locally and regular buses to other towns on the Island and La Rochelle.

Room was very nice and the pool whilst cold was nice, staff were as helpful as they could be. The area that really let the hotel down was the food, despite booking breakfast the night before they didn't have enough croissants etc for us (€18 per head) and all the lunch / dinner options were frozen jars of premade pasta and they didn't even have all of the ones on the menu, which made it a nightmare with kids. If it was much cheaper I'd care less, but for the money paid I'd expect to be able to eat something fresh / at least have the choice on the menu - meant we had to go out for each meal 😢

The hotel is brand new and very clean but it's hard to recognize it as a 4 star hotel. The swimming pool is quite small, and above all every extra (as parking, breakfast, coffe, bikes ) has to be payed quite expensive. The very positive note is the service, Stesy and the other reception girls have been exceptional. Extremely kind, helpful and with a great sense of problem solving. Thank you so much!

The room was very practical for a family of four. The loft had two single beds for the kids. It’s was functional and clean. The breakfast was good. Eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. We sat by the pool on the morning of our day of departure and were told there was no WC we could use, as it was closed due to Covid restrictions. It’s just plain annoying Covid is used as an excuse for some many things currently. Every bar and restaurant seems able to operate a public WC…. We had shown our vaccination passports too… anyway don’t want that to ruin what was otherwise a pleasant stay

J'ai aimé l'accueil chaleureux, la décoration cosy, confortable et sans luxe inutile, la démarche écoresponsable, le moment passé au hammam et au spa, le petit déjeuner varié et de qualité, je recommande vivement et j'y reviendrais avec plaisir.

HOTEL très bien, bien accueilli. Déçu car l'espace BIEN ETRE n'était pas inclus dans le prix ...On nous avait offert une box "1 NUIT + PETIT DEJEUNER" ESPACE SPA et BIEN ETRE . ... C'est trompeur !!! On a compris que tout n'était pas en service encore... Sinon très belle chambre, bonne literie, petit déjeuner plus que parfait

Mon épouse et moi-même vraiment satisfait de notre escapade à l'hotel les vignes de la chapelle. Bravo pour l'acueil, l'amabilité et le professionnalisme du personnel, et la qualité de l'établissement. Nous recommandons.

Bon emplacement au calme et entouré de vignes bien situé pour ballade en vélo sur l ile. Bonne accueil personnel a l écoute de nos souhaits. Parking privé pour véhicule.
