The staff and the room were good. I was only disappointed with one thing. The breakfast was not up to HIE standards. The sausage was dry and tasted terrible. Instead of a pot of oatmeal there were packs of instant. The coffee was not hot, only warm. Usually, HIE has a great breakfast. I was surprised.

Very pet friendly - they even had an off leash fenced area for dogs complete with its own fire hydrant

The hotel itself is well kept and quiet. The downside is because it is right on a busy interstate, obviously there is constant road noise. We have stayed here before and will again. We stay here a couple of times a year because its location is convenient and halfway to our annual destination. The breakfast is always prepared well with plenty of options. Happy with the experience!

Except for the freeway noise it was an amazing stay. The beds were comfortable and clean Will recommended this hotel

The hotel staff was very polite and professional, the lobby was comfortable for meeting others in our group, the rooms we clean and comfortable and pleasant. Only “but” I can think of is that the elevator wasn’t always the fastest to get around.

The property was fine. It was very busy and both nights of the stay the lobby had full blown parties with ***** poker going on. I booked through ******* and was charged by them, and the hotel also charged me PLUS an additiknal night. I was told the manager would contact me yesterday which never happened. At check out, my receipt indicated i was only charged for w nights which was inaccurate. I asked for a receipt showing ALL the charges taken from my account. The attendent couldnt figure out how to send an accurate receipt but promised to email ot to me. I still do not have have it. My sisters and i stay at the Holiday Inn several times a year and this was surprising based on our previous experiences. At this point i have paid over $1,000 between the property and ******* charges. I am not in position to have that kind of expenditure. Im vrry disappointed and will likely nkt stay at the Salem property again

As a snow birder from MN to FL we are learning target hotels after a full day’s drive. This is our choice and after last night it was 5th time. The manager has been the same too for the last three times.

Excellent lobby and grounds. Great breakfast and eating area. Shower area needs new caulk but room as a whole was as good as it gets.

This is a great place to stay….very clean, well appointed…..only issue is one side faces the interstate which is maybe 50 feet away so lots of traffic noise……if on the other side quiet as a mouse! Our second stay on travels north and will stay here again!
