Dorfhotel Beludei

This was a wonderful way for us to begin our journey into the Dolomites. Santa Christina is a smaller quaint town between Ortisei and Selva Gardena. There is not much in the town so having a hotel that takes care of everything for you is essential in Santa Christina. The hotel is immaculate at all times. The lobby and dining room are both warm, Comfortable and inviting. The staff greet you with smiles and kindness and that never changes. We stayed 4 nights in a Belsuite room. The views are amazing right off your private balcony. Parking underground was free and very convenient. Highly recommend to book the half board which gives you a full breakfast every morning at 7:30am. There is a ample midday “snack” which runs until around 4-5pm (huge when coming back from a 6 hour hike) and then a 3 course dinner (with some choices that you pick at breakfast). Food was really good. Simple flavors with reasonable portions for each course. Don’t fill up on bread, though as there is plenty of food at each meal. The staff were the best part of the experience. David the bartender and Sommelier was the best. Every night we allowed him to choose a wine for us. We went with local wines and his recommendation each night and all of them were fabulous. I tried single malt whiskey from Bolzano and even local Italian gin at his recommendation. He really cares about the “story behind the wine”. 5 stars for David. All the servers were wonderful but Angelo was the standout. His command of German, Italian and English was not unnoticed by us and he makes very guest feel special. Gave the dining experience a very high end feel and was as good as any place we’ve been. He notices everything and will approach every guest with kindness, patience and class. The spa is remarkable. Huge pool at just the right temp (we never saw another soul in the pool). The rooftop hot tub just cool enough to be able to sit for as long as you like. Finnish Sauna was super hot. I sauna and have stamina but this had me running for the shower every 5 minutes. Turkish bath also clean and fragrant. So overall we really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as a couple. One more thing. Buses are free with a pass from the hotel so traveling between Ortisei and Selva is easy (but they get crowded and are not so fragrant (even in mid September)). Best hike was the Sassalungo circuit. We did the coffin lift to the top and cut between the mountain. It was raining and the trek between the mountain pass was a little treacherous but so worth it. The Rifugio Vicenza was amazing. Gotta go. Enjoy the Dolomiti!

The hotel was wonderful, the food fabulous and the staff could not do more for you. I suffered a ski accident and the staff were so helpful, advising and then booking my doctor's appoin**ent. One of the best hotels that I have stayed in, and having had a long business career I have stayed in many across the world. But I can safely say that I have never experienced a more attentive group of hotel staff anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is one of those "hidden gems." Off the beaten path, not yet discovered, and yet I do not know why. The property is inviting, warm and exceeded all of our expectations. Luis, Manuel and all of the staff were extremely gracious, made us feel so welcome and had a great deal of insights to make our visit that much more enjoyable. Having a ski room to store our ski equipment and providing a boot dryer was a big plus. David, (head waiter?) was appropriately attentive and our shuttle driver to the slopes (Angelo?) was equally gracious. Not one detail was missed by the staff and if we ever needed something, it was provided in an instant. The meals were delicious, fresh and creative. We had to cut back on our mid day meals while skiing as we knew there was going to be a lovely 5 course dinner waiting for us each night. And then to top of our day on the slopes, we took full advantage of the welleness center enjoying the turkish bath, hot tub and sauna each and every day. We look forward to making a return in the future for sure.

The hotel is located at a quit part of town with no traffic. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. The hotel only has 24 rooms, so there is clear focus on you as a guest. The hospitality is very good and genuine. You will feel right at home.We did. Breakfast is very good and you can order any type of eggs and crepes. Dinner is wonderful, for the children maybe a tad too long as it is 5 courses. All meals are well prepared and delicous. Our week at Beludei was really great and memorable.

The Dorfhotel Beludei is a small boutique hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and warm. It’s an architectural treasure in the Alpine style. Our room was attractive and spacious with an outdoor balcony. We had an amazing view. The furnishings were very comfortable.the bathroom was also spacious. The wellness area on the 3rd floor was a peaceful and well thought out retreat. We had our breakfasts and dinners in the hotel. Dinners were delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle for guests for a period in the morning and again in the afternoon. Our only disappoin**ent was not having the shuttle available for the entire day. Otherwise, this hotel is perfection!

beautiful place with nice amenities, reliable shuttle ride to ski slopes and back, with great food, extensive wine list of local wine and wellness with adorable rest area. However, what makes this place unique is staff which will make you feel as part of their family and that makes it perfect. Highly recommend

Beludei is the best ski hotel where we were In Italy, Switzerland, Austria and France. Excellent report price/quality, very professional and friendful staff. You could have a fantastic view of the Dolomiti from the room, and breakfast and dinner are delicious.

Excelent venue, great dinning experience and the best Relax room and SPA in a ski vacation. Team is very considering with the guests, very knowledgeable and always friendly and available. Recommend for friends and family. Can be quiet, fun, dynamic or just chilling.

Family hotel very well located. Suite bellevue with a superb view on the mountains and the slopes. Very quiet place but center of the village accessible on foot. Very warm welcome by Manuel at the reception. Well organized day. Superb breakfast buffet but also eggs and pancakes made to order. Local products of excellent quality. The shuttle takes you to the start of the chairlift in less than 10 minutes. Sawable area with breathtaking views. Huge choice of slopes with the Dolomites superski package. The Sella Ronda trail is a must (orange in first choice). Return to the hotel possible from 15h. At 4pm buffet with homemade soup, excellent pastries and fruit. Sublime evening meal. Buffet of antipasti, then a 4 course meal served at the table. Gastronomic cuisine. David the sommelier recommends some sublime local wines. Linda and Giuseppe provided perfect table service with a smile. A dream stay as we had imagined. Excellent value for money. Thanks also to Luis, the owner and all the team.
