Great location, walkable things to see / do / buy / eat / drink Lively little night city Good bar downstairs. The deposit you pay to reception upon checking-in takes ages to be returned to your bank account though

Great location to restaurants. Pool was nice. The room was very nice stafff was great Safe area

You can hear everything from inside your room. Sounded like the people next door were inside our room, we were kept up all night. very strange set up of rooms. Lady working at pool bar was not friendly. Would not stay here again.

Nice and close to everything Dwotown Sarasota has to offer. Bars, Restaurants, a quick ride across the causeway to the Beaches and St. Armands. Hotel rooms are not carpeted. Sounds in adjoining rooms and those above you are easily transmitted. Heard the conversations of the people in the room next to us and the snoring from the person in the room above us. Would not stay here again for the noise issues.

It is a nice hotel in a great location. We were not there for very long as we were attending a wedding, but the stay was great.

Great location but lacked level of service and expectations given their location and cost. Very little amenities offered- bar was open at 4pm and other than the overpriced snacks, there wasn’t another food option on sight. Given the proximity, a guide would have been helpful for nearby places or recommendations. Our room was clean but the door to the bathroom was broken -off track and later noticed we had a used disposable coffee cup. Housekeeping came one day and only left towels and two waters- no additional cups or tissues replaced that were gone. Also, you didn’t need a key into the pool, but you did when you left which was very confusing and learned the hard way! Not upset but disappointed slightly on those few things based on Aloft stays elsewhere. Otherwise the staff was nice and friendly

I did not like the configuration of the room. There was no way to turn on the light in the bathroom without bathing the rest of the room in light. This was very annoying for my husband and myself.

stayed for one nite.. room was clean, efficient and high tech.. good window views and light.. bed and pillows very comfortable. shower good but took a while to get hot water both in the shower and sink.. drawbacks-materials in room are hard and do not absorb sound..so sound is amplified- including toilet use. very dark at nite and the small nite light was not adequate to find your way to the bathroom-had to open the shade overnite to allow some light into room for safety purposes. chair is good for working at desk but not for reading or tv watching..have to sit on bed to watch tv or read. ok for one nite but not a longer stay.. location is great...walkable to great restaurants , Whole Foods and Urbanite theater.. there is parking on the street

No safety bars in the shower. Only one towel hook in the entire bathroom area. Excellent service personnel.
