At first sight, Terra seems well situated but somewhat understated. It's easy to be fooled by the attractive but modest exterior and lobby. Terra's magic lies not only in its beautiful setting but also in a wide range of details that reflect its family ownership and the attention to detail. The food is exquisite -- a delicious and entertaining combination of textures and flavours. It takes several days to work your way through the different breakfast options. The same can be said of dinners -- we had tasting menus on three nights, for a total of about twenty courses, and there were no real misses. The wine pairings were excellent. All in all, quite an experience. Gisela's recommendations for daytime activities were complete hits with our group. There are many other great things to say about Terra; they've been said by other reviewers. For me, the most striking and wonderful aspect was the family a**osphere that permeates Terra. Eleven rooms is enough to have a variety of guests, but not so many that the personal touch is lost. We had a magical time. I recommend it without hesitation.
