「We stayed for 1 night at Balcone Hotel & Suites. Location was superb, cool air , breezy and the mountain view was stunning as I have book my room overlooking the Merapi & Singalang mountain. Our room was spacious & clean & quiet. Breakfast can be improved. The wash hand basin had a bit of problem as the water does not flow very well but we manage to open the sink trap to let the water out. Settle the problem. Overall happy ending. Highly recommend this hotel.」

「Everything is just nice. Breakfast is so delicious! I’m from Malaysia, but I can skip some of my Minang/Padang food hunting because they also provide local dishes, which are really tasty. The location is very close to Jam Gadang—within walking distance. The staff are friendly too. The only thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was this: I didn’t hang the “I need room cleaning” tag on my door because I was still in the room. A cleaning staff member knocked and said “room cleaning,” but I didn’t respond since I was still inside and hadn’t requested cleaning. Then, the staff used a key card to open the door. I felt a bit violated, though it wasn’t a big issue for me as I was alone and fully dressed. However, it would be better if staff didn’t enter unless there’s a clear request for cleaning—just in case someone is inside and not properly dressed.」

「ジャム・ガダンにとても近く、徒歩わずか数分という非常に便利な立地です。スタッフは親切でフレンドリー、そしてとても助かりました。エレベーターは小さなものが1台しかなく、乗車人数制限が5人なので、待ち時間が長すぎます。甥っ子が歩いている時に、突然ゴキブリがシャツの上に止まっていたという出来事があったので、害虫駆除の改善が必要かもしれません。部屋の芳香剤も検討する必要があるかもしれません（コーヒーの香りの芳香剤を使っていますか？）。」
