The room had a smell that would not go away . We asked housekeeping to have some take look or smell - to fix it . The smell keep coming back

The property is 5 Diamonds in every way. Location central to all of Scottsdale. Grounds are beautiful and the housekeeping staff is excellent. All appoin**ents in the spacious rooms are premium down to the leather box for the TV remote. We ate breakfasts in the Ironwood Grill and the food and service were 4 star. Best of all, the service and friendly staff elevated this resort to top level. This was the first time at the Princess; it won't be our last.

We came here because it was family friendly. Our fridge in our room was broken, I had to go down to the front desk to request a new fridge because they never picked up their phone when I called. We had a 5 month old baby who is breastfeeding and needs his breast milk in the fridge. When I requested the fridge, they said “it will be up shortly” we waited two hours before making a call, trying to look for staff members to ask them for our fridge and at last we eventually had to walk all the way down to the front desk to tell them we still need a fridge. We finally got our fridge but they put it in the middle of the room and didn’t even put the items from the old fridge to the new fridge like we requested. Also, we made sure there were soft chairs at the Pool because of the baby and when we called before making reservations, we were told that there were soft chairs. Upon arrival we asked again just to make sure and they had no idea what we were talking about. Anyway, so even the pool staff told us that there were soft chairs but at the other pools instead of the ones we were at. We had the run around this whole trip. There are more things that went wrong that I could write but it would be way too much. At the end, they asked us how our stay was and all we got was an apology.

I was impressed by the level of service and how beautiful the hotel was. I will definitely be returning. The staff went above and beyond during one of the busiest times. The only criticism is that the manager at the restaurant (can’t recall the name) was a bit rude when he asked us to leave due to a private party. He could have been more polite. Other than that one incident, every person who worked there was lovely!

We loved our stay at the fairmont! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The lobby dogs were a highlight. The rooms were cozy and luxurious. The food at la Hacienda and Toro was superb. The only thing that would make the experience even better would be a shuttle to take you to local places (shopping and dining) my husband had work nearby and had to uber only 1.5 miles away. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

Beautiful landscaping, excellent staff with superior quality service. Great for families with young children or people who love to play golf. I choose this place because of location and the spa. Unfortunately I was with my 16year old daughter who was not allowed to use the spa, so that was disappointing. No spa for us. We thought we were going to get massages and facials, but the fine print on the spa is no teens allowed! She was also not allowed to use the gym. Not a resort that is friendly to teenagers.

It's the Fairmont, and it really lives up to expectations. If you can swing it, do it. Especially the Gold option, pretty fantastic.

It was raining and there were flooded areas or deep water off of stairs. There should be an effort to clear once rain passed and or place signage. Also room service incredibly expensive and when it came (over an hour) it was cold. My colleague had the same experience.
